Pros and cons
The room was very clean and spacious as we got a double queen suite due to having 6 people. The beds were very firm and we ended up pulling the mattress off the pull out couch because my kids were afraid it was going to break the frame from all the sounds it was making and because the mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. The people above us had kids and they were heavy walkers all night so we did not sleep much. Breakfast area was clean and had several options. We enjoyed the patio area during our stay.

The hotel was ok. One downside, the body wash bottle in the shower was empty. We used the bar of hand soap to bath, but we kind of expect attached bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash to be serviced by cleaning staff when they prep a room for use.

Some key details posted on their site which really affected my decision to book were the two large grills and outdoor fireplace. My family and I are not big fast food eaters so upon check-in i immediately inquired about obtaining a hot plate and the rules for using the outdoor grills. I was told “you can just use them but I don’t know how”. Foolishly I ran over to Target for some groceries before checking if they were functional. Neither grill had a propane tank and the fireplace didn’t work either. Boo! When I addressed the front desk about this issue I was told “Oh, I am not sure why”. Rooms were OK. Basic. Jameson kept the common areas very clean. Washer & dryer work well too ($4/each per cycle).

Nice size for a family of 5 if you bring a cot
Room smelled terrible, but they sprayed something to resolve the issue. Breakfast wasn’t great compared to most of our other recent hotel experiences. Pool area was nice. Gym had no sanitizing wipes. There wasn’t even a place to contain them. Room was nice with a full-sized refrigerator.

Very noisy people or pet above us. Constant sounds of running and playing until after midnight. Otherwise a very nice hotel just a one time bad experience.
