While room service wasn't as thorough as I'd normally like to see, the front desk people were amazing. Often I woke up after breakfast had ended so I can't comment on that, but the property is nice and well kept. The fridge in room did seem to be more of a freezer, though, and no setting would get it to stop freezing anything i put in there from leftovers to drinks.

The shower in our room needs a boarder to keep the water in. Water ran across the bathroom and out into the entrance. I had to use our towels to wipe down the entire floor. Bad design.

We stayed at this La Quinta for a couple of nights on a trip to see the Cubs play the Royals in KC. The hotel was very convenient to the stadium (just down I-70 about 10 minutes). The hotel was clean, the rooms were nice, and the staff was very helpful. There are many restaurant options nearby as well. We would definitely stay here again when traveling to KC.
