A very bad vibe in a once prestigious Hotel.
I was shopping by location to obtain lodging for two employees near a leadership training class. It was not the least expensive and the name is reputable. The photographs promised a clean, well appointed, professional atmosphere. My employees called after arriving and reported vagrants in the lobby panhandling, a bed in a room with no other furniture and conditions so poor in the bar that they ordered pizza from another establishment, borrowed chairs to sit on in one of their rooms and retired with the feeling they could endure the stay, but it was not going to be enjoyed. A very bad vibe in a once prestigious Hotel that literally ruined an employer's efforts to reward its employees.

Sad to see this property decline. Stayed at this same hotel years ago and area around was bustling with businesses and hotel was great convention area. Unfortunately urban sprawl has taken away the businesses and safe feeling of the area. So unfortunate.

Some trash bags in the hallway on floor 4 where we were. Ice machine on floor 5 was not working properly. Breakfast was good, except for the eggs and sausage patties were a little over done. Coffee was the best that I have had.
