A spacious four-season waterfront cottage in peaceful Cowan’s Bay of Kawartha Lakes with an amazing view of the water and great privacy. A 90 ft long waterfront for year-round fun and relaxation. Just a few steps away are hundreds of acres of parks with trails for walking and adventure. Emily Provincial Park is just across the water. 1.5 hrs. drive from Toronto. A great place for fishing, boating and hiking. Enjoy the breathtaking lake view from two of the three bedrooms, dining room & two sunrooms. The flat floor and ground is great for seniors.
The cottage is located in a very quiet place with 1900 sqft that includes two sunrooms.
There are 3 bedrooms and 1 den that contain 3 queen beds and 1 double bed all together. There are also two futons that can be converted to two double beds. Two full bathrooms are equipped. One with a shower and tub, the other one with a walk-in shower. Can house 10 people maximum.
There is a spacious newly built deck. You may pitch a tent on the deck to enjoy camping, or have yoga and meditation. Front yard is sunny and bright with two larger trees for shade in summer. Here you can watch the sunsets, sunrises, and moonrises. This is an amazing place for your relaxation and vacation in four seasons. Tons of amenities! kayak, Sportspal canoe, pedal boat, hammock, BBQ, Ice maker, High speed Internet, TV, Muskoka chairs, fire pit, yoga mat, picnic tables and more.
In early spring starting from March, thousands of waterfowl including geese, ducks and swans gather in the front water of the cottage. In summer, you can sit under the tree with a cup of coffee, enjoying the breeze blowing against your face or lay on the hammock to watch the clouds or read a book. In fall, you can see the beautiful fall colors just in front yard or go to the walking trails beside the cottage. In winter, you can go cross country skiing ,snow shoeing or hiking in the surrounding parks (trails not groomed).
Direct access to our own dock for fishing, boating, kayaking, and canoeing. We offer 2 kayaks, 1 peddle boat and 1 Sportspal canoe plus life jackets for 5 adults, 1 youth 60-90lbs and 2 children under 40 lbs.
There is also a public boat launch available 2 minutes down the road. You can bring your own motorized boat.

Parents are responsible for your children's safety during stay.
The water has water lilies in the summer and the water depth is unknown, so it is not proper for swimming. However, there is a lovely beach in Emily Provincial Park just by crossing the water or driving there.
No parties allowed. This is a quiet community. Please keep quiet.
Pets are allowed. Guests must pay for any damages to the property that their pets may cause.
The secondary sunroom is 3-season. The door should be closed in winter although a portable electric heater is provided there.
Two cameras are installed for safety reasons. One in the back yard and the other one in the front yard.
Please stay away from and do not park under the large tree near the parking lot as there may be falling branches which could hurt people or vehicles especially on heavy windy days. We have placed some woods to block parking and walking there.
* Please leave the place like how you check in and leave the garbage in the bags on the deck.

* Firewood that you can purchase nearby on the Emily park Rd just by crossing the road from the Entrance of the Emily Provincial Park or can purchase in Canadian Tire in Lindsay or Peterborough
