This home is new on the market and perfect for family getaways of all sizes. Ceiling fans and central air/heating in every room and great weather make it extremely comfortable. We are excited to offer our home to you to create lasting memories with family and friends and are looking for feedback and suggestions to make this the best experience for our guests.

Cool house in hot Kernville
Our 3 night stay at this house in Kernville was lovely. The 4 bedrooms plus game room gave us plenty of flexibility with sleeping arrangements. The location is close to town exactly as stated. Communicating with the owner was super easy and she responded very quickly. No major issues, we just had a few questions and requested the air be a bit cooler at night. Temps in Kernville were around the 100 degree mark, so it was HOT. But the house was kept cool and comfortable, so no complaints there. The front deck is a nice area to sit when it's not burning hot outside. We liked to sit out there at night. Would stay again if we return to the area!

Kern river adventures
My family came to Kern for a birthday celebration. We ventured up past johnsonsdale to enjoy natures poolside, it was amazing. Our birthday dinner night was at ewings, the food really good and nice size portions. Our home base was very accommodating for the 9 of us. We got back after along day and we’re able to unwind comfortable and really enjoyed sitting outside and talking about our adventures. Thanks for a great visit

Our trip didn't feel like a vacation at all, because this house is very comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet. The hosts are very attentive and communicative. This is an excellent spot, and we'll certainly refer friends and others to use this house, as their vacation home.

CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE!!!
THIS PROPERTY IS AWESOME! First of all, the house is so clean! You can tell by walking bare feet inside the house.. you wont feel grime or stickiness! When I rent a property or stay at a hotel, I usually do a white cloth test where I run a white clean rug on the counters, tops of doors/door frames, etc.This place didn’t have a single faint of blackness, dirt or dust! My OCD was happy! Lol. The hosts are so quick to respond too! I only had one request which was adjusting the AC temperature and within 3 minutes of emailing them, my request was fulfilled!!! Happiness again!!! Haha! The game room is a plus for the kids. They enjoyed the arcade game and the foosball table where one of the two goalies only had a head/no body lol. This property is a mile away from downtown Kernville, and even closer to the rafting company we booked our white rafting with. Jet ski rental isn’t faraway either. Everything is within walking or quick driving distance. For sure we will be coming back and staying here!

Amazing Stay and Amazing Property Manager
The house, I believe, has just recently been upgraded. Everything is clean and well organized all the way to the small details such as providing wet tissue on the bathroom sink! We had 12 of us in the group and the number of the beds in the 4 bedrooms were enough to comfortably sleep everyone of us. The living room is very spacious that all of us can hangout together. Dining table is huge to host board games for big group. One other amazing thing is that we had smooth communication with the property managers. Tracey and Michael were just awesome. Prompt reply for each of our message/question and that's really appreciated. We definitely had an awesome stay and this house is definitely recommended.

Our company has a local project and have stayed here several times over the past months. The house is beautiful, always extremely clean upon arrival, comfortable beds, and the host Tracey is very responsive. Highly recommended if you are in Kernville for work or leisure.

Nice House, terrible AC
The house itself was very nice and very well stocked. The only problem was the AC did not work. It was 90 degrees in the house and unbearable to sleep in. It is not walking distance to the water like we were told. Overall we had a great time but will not return to this house as we could not sleep at all in the heat.

Kernville Home Away from Home
We really enjoyed our time at the property. It’s really well laid out with a big kitchen and dining area connected to the family room. There’s also four bedrooms and great use of the space with multiple beds in three rooms. Clean, well equipped and host was responsive and kind. We loved the location and enjoyed runs in the am (nice 2 mile loop from the house) and sitting on the porch with coffee in the am. We would absolutely stay again.

Wonderful place for a big family
Our trip to Kernville included a trip to the nearby Sequoia trees, feeding nuts to the squirrels in the nearby park, and tubing/fishing on the Kern Rivera and Lake Isabella. This VRBO was the perfect hub for our family. There was plenty of room for our big group, and the house included many conveniences. We made big breakfasts in the kitchen to start the day, and grilled while relaxing on the patio to end the evening. The local markets were convenient and close, which was an unexpected plus.
