Older beautiful mansion but needs a lot of TLC!! Rooms were good. Overall appearance of patios etc was bad. Water pressure was so bad that I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to wash shampoo out of my hair!! No extra amenities that I expect, like a coffee maker. Coffee was $5.00 per cup!! You are there for 18 hours & pay a premium! Was very good location for Duval St. With time & work, it could be a 5 Star place. It’s not now

At $650 per night it was overpriced. The Duval street and Truman house proximity were the only reasons justifying the price. The staff was hard to get hold of during planning. We got in and out almost without interacting with any staff. Not all Electric outlets worked and the furniture was old. Room had a stench of chlorine. Party was loud in the restaurant on property so no quiet. If I stay in key west I will look for another property

It’s an older building but I enjoyed that part of it. No front desk to speak with but that was fine. Ask for first floor if you can’t get your luggage upstairs. Hotel is so close to everything which was great! I would stay here again.

Love the location of the property! Rooms are dated but comfortable. Pool is so nice. No staff and removed the coffee station at the pool. Really missed that!

Very Nice
Stayed in the Curry Guest House (James House) in the King Suite with the extra room and a private balcony. Perfect location just off Duval. Easy to walk everywhere. Mallory Square and everything. Hotel parking no problem. Pleasant staff. Easy check in directly to the room. Good place.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Curry Mansion James house. The location is fantastic, just off of Duval and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. The only thing we didn't like was there was only 1 small chair in the room.

Great location, convenient to everything. Very clean. We did not drive but looked to be a lot of parking. It was noisy and know there is no one on the property to help if there is a problem or question. We would definitely stay there again

We stayed 3years ago and there was a very good welcoming (guest welcoming reception, tea and coffee in the morning) everything disappeared replaced by a code of the door. Not even a glass or plastic cup in the bedroom!!!! We will not come back again it was such a disappointment!!!!!

Exactly what I was looking for.
Stay was just what I was looking for. I went to Key West for a quick, unplanned weekend and my stay there was exactly what I wanted. Beautiful old building. Room and bed were comfortable and very clean. It was nice having a small outdoor space. I didn’t get a chance to use the pool, so I cannot speak to that. The Brightwild guest experience manager texted back immediately with any questions I had about transportation and something I thought I left in my room.

Lovely spot close to Duval Street and all the options available in the surrounding area. Very walkable - it was a straight shot to the waterfront and the ferries. Lovely rooms, well kept. Be aware that this is a historic home. As such, there are no elevators. If you book a room on the second floor, you will carry suitcases up the stairs.

This trip was a bust. There is no staff on site so no one greets you and no one welcomes you. You call a phone number and get text messages to get into your room. Parking is extremely difficult due to very limited space. Then they took over a nice parking area to put cafe tables and chairs and no one sits in them. Ridiculous. It was very cold outside when we were there. The heater in our room blew cold air no matter what it was set to and you could not shut it off. There were two sheet-weight linens on the bed but no blanket. We froze all night. But the worst of it was we had no hot water in the bathroom. That meant no showers. They told us to let the water run for 3 minutes to get hot water. What we got was room temperature water. The whole experience was awful. It cost $305 a night for this joke of a hotel. A corporation bought it a year ago and the way they do business has changed to make them the most money possible. No staff, no heat, no hot water, no blankets, no housekeeping, NO SERVICE. A stay at a Motel 6 will bring you more amenities than this overpriced, joke of a hotel. Never again will I stay at a Curry Mansion. Oh, and they have not changed the website to say there is no breakfast with the room. Don't waste your money because you'd do better sleeping in your car!

We stayed for 3 nights beginning 12/5 and overall had a very good experience. While initially having a bit of difficulty with the on-site parking, a young man doing some painting maintenance helped us to park in the back lot even going as far as to move his own vehicle so we could unload our car and by the time we had done so, a space opened up where we were able to leave the car for the weekend. The Mansion is a beautiful property that is feeling a little tired but overall we were very comfortable there. We rented a king suite in the rear of the building. The room was clean with plenty of towels. AC worked great. TV only had one channel but we weren’t in Key West to watch TV. The pool area was nice though we didn’t use it. The front porch was lovely for morning coffee. The hotel has coffee and some food items for hefty prices so I would go to Ana’s Cuban Café around the corner in the morning for con lèche and breakfast sandwiches. The location can’t be beat as far as walkability to everything. But with that comes loud music and the occasional intoxicated people walking by at 3am yelling loudly. I was prepared for this so it was not a huge problem for me. So overall this was a positive experience for us as we loved being in the middle of all the Key West action.

We were excited to stay at this location however our room accommodations were not what the photos shown. Our room was in the detached pool house so we lost the ambience of staying in the “mansion”. Our room also had a dirty refrigerator and a toilet that was temperamental. For the beauty of the mansion and where our room was we felt shortchanged.
