American Pines Lodge is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home that can sleep up to 12 people with a queen bed in each room, a sofa sleeper in the living room & 4 portable cots. There are 2 full bathrooms, one being a master bath with a soaker tub, fully furnished kitchen, living room area with satellite TV & DVD player, as well as front & back decks with propane BBQ grill & yard area with a fire pit. This is a side x side duplex & we, the owners live in the other unit. There is a dual locking door between the 2 units. Located just 5 miles from Mt. Rushmore & 2 miles from downtown Keystone, American Pines Lodge is close to most major attractions but sets on 4 acres of mountain meadow in a beautiful valley with Battle Creek running through the property. Our other listing, American Pines Cabin, is also on the same property. There is a playground & basketball court available for our guests. Hiking & biking trails are accessed right off the property as well as ATV/UTV rentals through Black Hills Wilderness Edge to get off the beaten path & experience the Black Hills. Perfect
We met my brother’s family here for a fun filled 3 days in the Black Hills. Mount Rushmore and the steam train are only minutes away. Renting ATVs next door was super fun too. The property was clean and very convenient. Makes us want to come back!

Location, location, location!
After an all day drive to get to Keystone SD, we were 2 short miles to downtown Keystone, close to many food options that were open late. 5
We were lucky enough to book the lodge. It was perfect for our family of 4. Our twins (teenagers) got to have their own rooms.
The lodge was spatial, the master bedroom had a large ensuite with 2 vanities. It all seemed like it was brand new! Bonus for us!

great quiet setting
We were well accomodated with ample clean facilities and parking. A very well maintained facility with nice quiet evenings and good access to surrounding locations. Great Black Hills location.
