A row of palmettos, sea oats and rolling sand dunes are all that separate the Oceanwood Cottages from the Atlantic.

This 1,234-square-foot home sits just outside West Beach Village, 150 yards up the road from a beach access point. Take morning walks amid palmettos and dunes to catch the sunrise on the sand, and bring along your bikes to explore the 30 miles of biking trails and nature trails and the many beauties of Night Heron Park.

Renovated from top to bottom in 2012, this air-conditioned cottage offers hardwood floors, free WiFi, new furnishings, and an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher). Prepare lunch on the gas grill between trips to the beach, rinse off in the enclosed outdoor shower (with hot water) before dinner, and sit down to eat on the deck or the screened porch. This non-smoking vacation rental property includes parking, 24-hour security in a gated community, central air conditioning, internet, a DVD player, a washer and dryer, linens and bath towels, a departure housekeeping service and a starter supply of paper products and detergents. Back inside, you can spend the evening watching Netflix on one of two cable TVs (guests must have their own Netflix account). There is parking for 2 cars.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
