Cozy cottage in Kil near lake Fryken | SE18027

Just a few 100 meters from the lake is this cozy cottage with a large and lovely garden for play and games. There are two well-sized covered terraces with a brick barbecue on one. Here you can enjoy pleasant barbecue evenings with the family.

You will find two bedrooms in the cottage. One with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The kitchen is functional with good work surfaces, a dishwasher and a cozy dining area for the whole family. Large living room with TV and a large sofa group. Bathroom with shower and washing machine. You will find a third bedroom in the annex which is on the other side of one of the terraces. Here you can also find a comfortable double bed.
Not far from the house, just a short walk away, is the fantastic lake Fryken. There you can swim, go fishing and spend sunny summer days. The forest and land around the cabin are rich in berries and mushrooms.

To see and do in Kil and the surrounding area

For those interested in nature, there are many wonderful hiking trails. Most start from Frykstahöjden and offer wonderful nature. In Kil there are also several nature reserves such as Kilsravinerna and Rennstadsnipan.

In just 30 minutes, to the south, you can get to Karlstad by car. Here you will find several shopping centers and restaurants. If you are more interested in culture, you can go 30 minutes north instead and visit Mårbacka, where Selma Lagerlöf was born and grew up. There is a fantastic café here and there is also the possibility of a guided tour with exciting stories from the past.

Good to know about the accommodation

Bed linen and towels are not available in the house - please bring your own.
Final cleaning is mandatory and costs SEK 1500/stay.
Electricity is included in the price.
