Minutes away from the sound, multi-use trail that runs along Bay Drive, and public gazebo dock that's perfect for watching sunsets.

Perfect for the Family
This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks, and the beach house was perfect for us. It is located right in the middle of the island - halfway to the Sound, and halfway to the ocean. (You can walk to the Sound; the ocean is a short - 3 minutes - drive away.) Lots of shops and restaurants all around. I was surprised at how quickly we could go from Kill Devil Hills to Kitty Hawk or Nags Head. So simple. The house itself was in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and nicely decorated, with lots of thoughtful touches, like a basketful of throw blankets in the living area and a book of tips and suggestions ranging from care of the house to what to do in the local area. The fridge also had laminated magnets detailing Wi Fi and check out information - very helpful. We used the two beach chairs (we had forgotten ours) and the outdoor hose for rinsing our feet and the shells we picked up. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and we were given plenty of "starter" items that lasted us through the week, such as hand soap and detergent. All in all, a very lovely home and a memorable week at the OBX. We enjoyed our walks through the neighborhood down to the Sound to watch the sunset, and sitting out on the deck in the morning. This is a really nice well maintained property with plenty of space. I loved the quiet of being sound-side but still just a short walk to the beach. If you don’t mind an extra 5 minutes on your walk to the beach, I highly recommend this property. 3 bedrooms 2 baths conveniently located near the main attractions for a fraction of what you would pay for oceanfront. And the host were gracious and helpful with good suggestions for local fare

We really enjoyed our time here. Everything was clean and comfortable. The welcome essentials was a helpful addition by reducing the number of items we needed to purchase. Cable and Netflix was available which was another nice touch. Lastly the neighbors didn’t make a peep out entire time there. It was a really peaceful vacation with plenty to do.

Such a cute little house with amenities! It was perfect for our family of 6 with three bedrooms and 2 full baths. I liked this location though you have to drive across the street to get to the beach (we did not mind at all!) Due to four lanes of traffic but it wasnt hard at all getting across in a vehicle. When you go out of the house you can go right to the beach or left to the sound. The house already had 2 bicycles that my daughter rode to the sound to watch the sunset, which was gorgeous! Will definitely be staying here again!!

Great space
Very bright and airy space halfway between the beach and the sound. Clean and comfortable, good for a short or long vacation. This is a quieter spot, not right on the noise of the beach. Loved the porch which overlooks the street. Additional assets like laundry, bikes, and extra towels rounded out the experience.

Charming Home
House was exceptionally clean, had everything we needed for our stay, bedrooms are spacious and it’s a very quiet neighborhood. Good central location. I had a difficult time with tv and remotes, but that’s all on me. It was cold and rainy for our stay, but we didn’t care, we were so comfortable in the house. Already planning a return stay. Host was very responsive when I had some questions.

Lovely Cottage
