SOUND FRONT PRIVATE GUEST APARTMENT!

Enjoy sound front views and sunsets over Kitty Hawk Bay! This is a 1 bed 1 bath guest apartment attached to our home with a private entry, private bath, private outside deck and private living space. Newly built in 2017. There is a outside shower available to guests, extra pullout couch, and covered parking underneath our house. Guests have free access to bikes, beach chairs, and kayaks off the dock.

Centrally located on the OBX in Kill Devil Hills. 3 minute drive to free public beach accesses (1 mile), Publix is 1/2 mile away, multiple restaurants within a mile, and this is a wonderful neighborhood for biking. There is a sound front boardwalk to bike down, Wright Brothers Monument is a 5 minute bike away, and many of our favorite restaurants are biking distance from our house.

Avalon Pier, Brewing Station, beach road bars, and Publix all within 2 miles.

Outer Banks Visit
We stayed in Corolla the first part of our stay and visited all of the little towns along the way from there to Kill Devil Hills. After arriving at the Sound we used this point to visit everything South. The unit is perfect for a couple. Note the stairs if you have any health issues but it was no problem for us. Eddie was quick to respond on a couple questions we had.The view of the Sound is wonderful and we spent most evenings enjoying the sunset. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay here.

Great Location and Accommodation
We had a really great stay. The house was located in a great location, close to the beaches and on the water. They really went above and beyond with access to bikes and kayaks. The apartment was really clean and the communicstion with Eddie really made me feel comfortable with where we were staying. They really have a beautiful home. My only negative comment is the pull out sofa mattress was pretty uncomfortable and there was some food left in it from the previous guest. We cleaned it up and it wasn’t a big deal but may want to pull that out prior to next stay. The sunsets here are a huge bonus! Thank you so much for having us in your home.

The property is in a beautiful spot that feels very secluded. Loved having the bikes and kayaks to use. The location was close to everything we wanted to see but away from the crowds. The bedding could use a refresh. The pillows were very flat and the sheets didnt fit well.

Lovely get-a-way for a couple
Very quiet neighborhood, views of the sound were amazing. Loved walking out on the boardwalk and the outdoor shower - very NC beach experience! We did not take the bikes out but it looked like a lovely biking neighborhood. The property itself is not big but plenty of room for a couple, everything is new and clean, really lovely. Owners were very responsive when we had questions. Would stay here again!

Great Weekend Getaway
My boyfriend and I were in town for a wedding and found this property to exceed our expectations. It was nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a great sound view and nice bike trails. It was so clean and had everything we needed. Eddie, the property owner, was so easy to work with and went above and beyond to give us great directions for the bike trails and recommendations for restaurants and sites to see in the area. Will definitely look to stay here again in the future if in the area.

Great Getaway
My husband and I stayed one night, and it was a comfortable and clean apartment. We enjoyed the dock for a sunset, and exploring the bike trails the next morning. Very quiet neighborhood with a beautiful view of the sound. Check-in and out was easy, and Eddie replied to all communication quickly. Stayed one night for a quick trip to Kill Devil Hills. Apartment was very clean and nice. Great view of the sound from the private porch. Owner offered to put bikes and kayaks out for us to use. Apartment has a private entrance with keypad. Would definitely stay again for single or multi-night getaway.

Coastal Storm Stay
The property was as described on the site. Very nice location on the sound, but when we visited a nor'easter was coming through, so we didn't get the chance to experience much outside. Nice layout and furnishings. Very clean and up to date details. Owner(Eddie) was very easy to get up with, and he responded very quickly to any questions that we had.

Couldn't have asked for a better vacation spot on such short notice. Take in all of the views from the private balcony and take a walk to the private dock. Everything you need is there.
