There are several cycling and walking paths in the area, as well as many lakes: Osbysjön, Angsjön, Åbrollasjön (barbecue area, Freischärlerhof). Fishing is successful in the river Helge Å, there is a boat for rent in Visseltofta. Chanterelles and porcini mushrooms are preferred in this wooded area. The cottage is not far from Osby, Älmhult and Brio Toy Museum, IKEA, Glasriket, Tykarpsgrottan cave, Kristianstad and Blekinge archipelago.
