Charming Barn Conversion on Private Estate

Mews Cottage is available a short term holiday let only. It is a Grade B listed building which is 10 minutes from Royal Troon. The courtyard setting on a private estate ensures a secluded stay, free from traffic. On the edge of a conservation village, the cottage is a 12 minute walk from the Wheatsheaf Pub and Restaurant, with the local store less than a 10 minute walk away. A woodland walk is a mere 40metres from the front door. The lovely living areas and excellent location make it the perfect choice for a romantic break, family get away or get together with friends. This beautifully refurbished cottage retains traditional character but also includes a host of modern comforts, making it an ideal home away from home. It is also very warm and cosy.

The sandy beaches of Troon, Prestwick and Barassie are about a 10 minute drive away. Glasgow is 30 minutes away. Barassie beach is a favourite for kite surfers.

The Ayrshire coast is home to dozens of golf courses including the famous Royal Troon, Turnberry and Prestwick courses, where the worlds first Open Championship was played.

The rolling hills of Ayrshire and beaches offer plenty of opportunities to walk and explore local country houses.

As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.

Great location, great property, great stay!!
This property is a great base for a relaxing stay in Scotland. Conveniently located for getting around and seeing the sites, it’s in a quiet location which enables you to kick back when you get ‘home’ at the end of the day. As amazing as it looks on the photos, we would definitely recommend using this property for your next Scottish break!!
