Architect designed, this 4 bedroom home is just a few minutes walk to hotels, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, penguin parade, pelican feeding, Kingscote pier, the Yacht Club and Tidal Pool.
Camelot is close to the best attractions Kingscote and Kangaroo Island have to offer.
Built with energy efficient features Camelot offers ceiling fans in all rooms to compliment the sea breezes in summer and the warmth of a wood heater in winter.
The north facing features combined with the shade sails and sun blinds on all bedroom windows, make this an extremely comfortable home to live in any time of the year.
Double glazing, polished concrete floors and the feature stone wall add to the thermal qualities and year round enjoyment of living in Camelot.
The BBQ decked area is a feature with manicured lawns, sea views and shade sails.
Upstairs you will enjoy the balcony with wonderful ocean views, huge double doors open the balcony to the living area and let in the sea breeze. 2 reclining chairs and 3 seater couch allow you to enjoy the views along with the LED 60inch flat screen TV with Blu-ray and CD stereo player.
The kitchen is very well appointed with Induction cooktop, Pyrolytic oven, and new matching cookware. The dining table seats 9 with a full set of crockery included.
Coffee machine, toaster, and kettle are there for your convenience.
The Master Bedroom has a king size bed, bedside table. The generous ensuite includes a spa bath. It offers views from the large east facing windows and a bamboo writing table.
The second bedroom has a queen bed, bedside table.
The third bedroom has a double and a single bed.
The fourth bedroom is has a double bed.
Double doors open to paving and a table with 2 chairs in the back yard, a perfect "get away from it all" spot.
All linen and towels are provided and laundry costs are included in the rental fees.
The bathroom has a separate shower and bath. The toilet is separate to the bathroom.
The laundry is fitted with an indoor clothes drying rack which lifts into the raised skylight. It works well all year round.
There is space for 3 cars, 2 undercover.
An outdoor shower is included for your use after a dip at the beach or tidal pool.
The upstairs balustrading both indoor and outdoor is of wire construction and complies with the relevant building codes. Parents please note; it is possible that children could climb the wire if not properly supervised. A child barrier gate can be fitted at the bottom of the stairs, at your request.
For your convenience detergents for hand washing, the dishwasher and washing machine are supplied.
Some complimentary tea, sugar, shower and bath gel, bath soap, and shampoo are provided to help you settle in.

Aptly named Camelot!
We loved staying at this property - so close to everything - and comfortable. A real home away from home. The only thing I would recommend is to provide extra towels. There were only one set for the week for us. I know we could have washed them - but we were on holiday! Who wants to do laundry?! Other than that, loved it!!

Camelot is a lovely home in an excellent location for exploring kangaroo island; Comfy Beds, clean linen and kitchen well appointed. Unfortunately the home had been let down by poor cleaning. The en-suite didnā€™t look like it had been cleaned. We cleaned the basin, shower, floor and mirror before we felt comfortable using it. The second Toilet and bathrooms floors hadnā€™t been washed. Very dirty. We would totally recommend this home if cleaning improved.

Home is more than comfortable, Prema is a very hospitable host & was going to accommodate us for another night if our boat home was cancelled. Communication was very good. House is in a great location, walking to everything. View from house is amazing. Thank you for a great stay.

Very spacious home.Location excellent. Loved the fire and upstairs lounge room and had the weather been better we would have loved to eat out on the deck. Only comment we felt an update of linen/towels was needed. Definitely recommend it as would be ideal for families or group of friends.

This property was great for views and convenience to Kingscote shops and foreshore. Would recommend owners add quality photos to their listing as the photos currently do not do justice to the reality - I almost didnā€™t book this property based on the photos. Would also agree with previous reviews that an upgrade from sofa bed to actual bed in the fourth bedroom would be great, it was fine for our kids but wouldnā€™t be great for adults :)

KI Bowls Carnival at Camelot
We were very disappointed with the accommodation, one sofa bed was very uncomfortable, one single bed was in with a double bed pushed against the wall making it difficult. One single guest had to sleep in his swag upstairs because of the bed arrangements. Sofa beds are not appropriate for this type of accommodation and price. We were not happy about a note left in the bbq about cleaning before we had vacated the premises as we were not finished with it. The bbq utensils in the bottom draw were not clean from a previous tenant bbq! At the age of guests a bath mat in the 2nd would have been useful as the floor is slippery, no matches or fire lighters or kindling for the wood heater as the evenings were cold. I hope this is viewed as constructive criticism, not just whinging tenants . When a place is advertising 2 singles , more appropriate listings would be better.

Such a wonderful house and location
Such a beautiful location overlooking the bay around Kingscote and the house was well set up and had everything we could want. A few minutes walk into the main street of Kingscote with the cafes, pubs and restaurants. Only thing amiss for us was the lack of WIFI which just would not work and several times we had to walk to the cafe to check out opening times and book tours or meals.

The location and quality of this property made this a great place to stay for the week. It is central to all the Islands Gems and within walking distance of Kingscote shops. The fixtures and fit out are very good . Perhaps a double bed without a footboard would make it more comfortable for a taller adult.

Very good property and would look at staying there again if we go back over to Kangaroo Island. Only issues we had was with the front door lock and the use of the TV. There did not seem to be a remote and needed to use the switches on the TV. Quick reply from owner but did not have any follow up with the issues.

Spacious, clean, comfortable and close to amenities.
Spent 4 nights here and really enjoyed the space, comfort and convenience of this very nice house. All modern fittings throughout and a great view across the bay to enjoy with drink of choice. We only had two nights on Kangaroo Island but this was a fantastic base. A beautiful well appointed house and very comfortable. Nice and close to the shops and local pubs which made the walk very easy.

Great family get together
This was our second stay at Camelot and it was as good as our first. This time was family focused and once again the facilities of the house were excellent in the provision for 6 of us staying. There was plenty of space and we loved the appointment of outside facilities as they allowed for entertaining outside as the weather lent itself to balcony use plus a more sheltered alcove down below. The beds were comfortable, it was quiet at night and there was plenty of hot water without turning it over. The kitchen facilities were excellent....large oven, plenty of plates, cutlery, sufficient condiments to get yourselves started. The grandchildren came in for dinner one of the evenings and found the games cupboard which kept them well entertained. It was also close to town allowing for a leisurely stroll to the shops. There was also a pleasant view of the sea and a great sealed walking track across the road for that half hour morning walk. Thankyou Prema and Neil for the provision of such a well appointed house.
