A Great vintage house with modern accoutrements
This house is located near the waterfront in historic Kingston. The neighborhood is charming and the house is from the 1800's that's been updated. It has a little charming funkiness and there's no question the stairs are very steep, but I would definitely rent this place again.

Fantastic
Loved everything about the place. Exactly as represented, in a really cool and relatively quiet neighborhood. If stairs bother you then that might be the only downside as the inner staircase is pretty steep but has excellent railings and safety glass.

We had a wonderful stay in Historic Kingston down by the riverfront. The property was perfect for our needs. A quiet side street offered close proximity to everything we needed. The unit was clean and well appointed. A whole house. Beautiful.

Beautifully restored building. Very clean. Lots of room to relax. Nice touches too. Bath and cooking supplies, and the fridge was filled with bottled water, which was nice, as it was about 90 degrees during our visit. Beds- SO comfortable. All towels and linens were very nice. Even though it’s street parking, we never had an issue. A short walk to many shops and restaurants. We really had an excellent time. Would stay here again.

Great Property, we plan to go back next year
Had a wonderful time at this property. The price is a bargain for what you get. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were extremely comfortable! The open dining/kitchen area had a large table that made a great gathering place. The covered back patio had two lounge chairs and a dining table. Bedrooms were great, bathrooms were great. The brick walls gave it a cozy, loft-like historical feeling but with all the modern amenities and comforts. The stairs were very steep but they had a modern glass enclosure, and a railing that made it feel safe. Just a 5 minute walk to town with lots of great restaurants and the river walk. Was very quiet. Highly recommend this property!

Well-located home in Kingston
This property was one of the most well-stocked rentals we have ever stayed in: more than enough towels and toiletries and laundry supplies for the 3 of us. It was clean and comfortable. There was a minor glitch with the hot water supply, but GR dealt with it as soon as he learned of it. My one caveat for future renters is that the place is not suitable for anyone with a toddler: stairs are steep and not particularly kid-friendly. For that matter, at 70+, they were a bit steep for us, as well. But the stay was worth it.

Fall Bliss
Not as expansive as it looks in the photos, but no complaints. Loved the detail that went into transforming what was probably a factory/business into a residential home. Quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of the waterfront, restaurants and some shopping. 10 minutes from a Walmart. Rustic, simple, modern and quaint, which is exactly what I was looking for. Spacious master bedroom, amazingly comfortable bed. Great kitchen/dining area, perfect for cooking. Limited seating in an underutilized backyard, which was a shame, as it was so pretty. The stairs to the second floor were quite steep so if anyone in your party has mobility issues it may present a problem. All the bedrooms are upstairs. Owner was helpful and communication was effortless and quick. I loved the weekend and would happily return. I highly recommend this property.

Kingston house
House was clean and appeared to be recently renovated. We were three women in our 70s and found the stairs very steep and difficult. There is a full size washer and dryer in the downstairs bath that are stacked with a drawer underneath the washer. This puts the controls for the dryer nearly at ceiling height. We had to stand on the toilet seat in order to turn it on!

Nice try but not quite right
Listing amenities: Parking. Parked in the empty space right next to the house, was rudely woken up in the morning by a very nasty man banging on the livingroom window with a stick. Insisting i move my car...that it was his property..."people do it all the time". He said he had talked to the owner numerous times. How about listing ON STREET PARKING. It would have avoided a very unsettling experience. Survellence cameras discovered. (I understand the need for security) This should also be disclosed in the property listing. I do not like to be spied upon. If it's not disclosed it makes me very uncomfortable. Front door key pad did not work, had to finally open the locked box that had a key. Arrived in evening, house was 84 degrees. No air conditioners had been turned on for our arrival. Very disappointed.

I rented this property for my parents for a weekend for their anniversary. They couldn't say enough positive things about their experience. My mom loved how the space was decorated and ambiance, and my dad loved the bagels and waters that were provided. They were extremely happy with their stay at this property. They want to go back!

We liked the place a lot. Really a 3 bedroom home. A very old place that was completely remodeled with a nice balance of the old and new. Comfortable beds and the shower pressure was great! Location also very good, near some restaurants and the waterfront. I would stay there again.

Chic loft-style townhouse walking distance to many great restaurants!
This chic, well-appointed loft-style townhouse is located near the historic waterfront of Kingston. The unit has many amenities including WiFi and air conditioning. It appears freshly remodeled and has a very updated design. Luxurious showers, plush beds and bedding, full washer & dryer and new appliance in the kitchen made for a very homey stay. We enjoyed walking to Dulce and Ship to Shore for a very foody experience. We were in town for USEF Jr. Hunter finals at HITS and found it convenient to the horse park and also a nice getaway from the hubbub of the horse show. Gino was terrific to work with and accommodated our every need! We will gladl return when we are in town next year for horse showing!

Beautifully decorated, recently renovated home. Walking distance of restaurants and waterfront.
My wife and I enjoyed our weekend getaway in Kingston. This home was exactly what we were looking for. Short walk to great restaurants and waterfront. And it is location is a short drive to some of the wineries in NY Hudson Valley. Everything we needed was provided and our host was quick to respond with any questions we had. A real gem in the heart on Kingston.
