Property was beautiful inside and out, staff did an excellent job during my stay. The R hotel is some where I will always come back to whenever Iā€™m in Jamaica.

This was my third time coming to R Hotel. I enjoy the facility due to it being near activities to handle my personal affairs. There was changes with their breakfast which was not told upon my arriving. I had a staff tell me about an extra charge. I was fine with the charge for the Jamaican breakfast. However, I didnā€™t like someone telling me I should tip them. Itā€™s sad when other employees were so hospital and you prefer to tip them. The rugs in the hallway to your room should be change. There are bleach stains and it smells like water damage. Again the staff was friendly. The mattresses need to be changed as well. The mattress springs you could feel as you laid down to sleep. The smell from the first floor steaming machine. Is too strong.

I love that the property has secured access, your name and room number is needed to gain access to property. Your room key gives access to the floor you stay on when you take the elevator. The staff are always great and food is amazing. The only thing is the driveway to the parking lot is kinda close, especially if you drive a SUV, you have to be very careful.

Hotel is not what expedia presents on website. The hotel is outdated. Does not have dining nor does it have a pool. The room has an odor that just would not leave even after cleaning. Yes, I did go and buy cleaning products. And lets not talk about the bathroom, the tub is resurfaced and is peeling really bad. Attitudes are horrible and the man at the entrance to let you in is the most disrespectful person I have ever encountered.
