I was totally disappointed in my room. The carpet was dirty. The sofa had some type of spots all over it. I had to call the front desk for towels and toilet paper. I checked in 6/20/24 did not get my room cleaned until 6/24/24, I did not understand why there was a 10.00 dollar parking fee.

The first 2 rooms I booked were real nasty, the couch was black stained on the back and arm rest.The kitchen floor and carpet was dirty and your feet felt like they were sticking to it. No paper towels, Kleenex, body wash, coffee maker, coffee, no ice maker or ice bucket, super noisy exhaust fan. They gave us different rooms for the second and third nights but some of the same issues were going on, also the rooms were cleaner but still other issues, dishwasher not installed properly, open the door and it tilts down, mold in the bathrooms, toiletries missing and not available. The scrambled eggs tasted like blah cardboard or styrofoam. Other people we talked to were also complaining about being the worst hotel, some people were leaving a day early. The staff was very nice and friendly!

Only go here if you need a cheap stay, not for families, well of people, or vacationers. They need to clean better and update rooms. Breakfast is horrible for a Marriott. Staff is great.

Run down (carpets), outdated (TVs). Television remotes did not work in either B.R. of our suite, and were missing back w batteries scotch taped. Property big and in good location. Close to restaurants. Maybe we were in the old wing.

Terrible House Keeping.
I have stayed here before about 2 years ago and everything was good. This time I was very disappointed. I had a two bedroom suite. There was one coffee cup one plate and one saucer. There were dirty silverware in the drawers. There was garbage in the trashcan with no plastic bag. There was no extra toilet paper we ended up sharing a roll. There was trash food wrappers on the floor in one of the bedrooms. Marriott should be ashamed I know it is Flint Michigan but theres no excuse for neglecting this facility. I definetly will not be staying here again.

Room was once again not available when we went to check in. Booked a 2 bdr and was given 2-1 bedroom rooms and told they were next to each other, but were actually across the hall. I have a 8, 3, and 1 year old and 2 separate rooms do not work. The only reason we chose this hotel after previous bad experiences is because we need 2 bedrooms. We all ended up sleeping in 1 room where there were no sheets or pillows for the thin rock hard mattress on the pull out couch. Bathroom was dirty and had a hole in the door. Absolutely done with trying to stay at this hotel and will just pay for extra nights we don’t need to stay at airbnbs.

Won't Be Staying Again for Awhile
Despite reserving a room with a fireplace 2 days before I arrived, I was told "they were all sold out" when I checked in. On Day 2 I was moved to a room with a fireplace - THAT DIDN'T WORK - and to add insult to injury, the television DID NOT WORK, either. And then there were no plates or silverware in the room - I was told to look in the dishwasher - so I did, just one DIRTY CUP. To top it off, the breakfasts each day were sparse and barely qualified as a continental breakfast, not a full service breakfast such as Residence Inn usually provides.
