Sailor House is a beautiful home and is the sister home of Kamden's Place which is located directly across the street and sleeps 16! Your large group of up to 30 can remain close but still have their own space!
Sailor House 1650SF, 3 bed, 2 bath, 14 person max. On 1/2 acre lot with lots of outdoor space. Large family room also has a queen sleeper sofa. 3 bedrooms consist of 1 king bed in the master, 1 queen bed in second (mid March we will have 2 closet bunks for the kids, and 2 full beds and 2 twin beds (2 sets if twin over full bunks) in the third bedroom. 5 blocks from the water, providing perfect access if you want to fish, golf, or just relax. Fully furnished you only need your food, drink and personal items! Pet friendly with $65 fee per pet for duration of the stay, 2 pet max.
There is a large front and back porch with lots of seating and eating area. The home is on a 1/2 acre lot and provides lots of outdoor family play area. A gas grill is also provided for your convenience. We have a large back patio with a large pergola for entertaining. Sailor House was the first vacation rental home in our community and we have seen lots of family and friends return over the years. We hope you will chose our home for your family memories.

Useful information:
Beach location and swim areas: Lazy Oaks is one block from Sanders Island View which has beautiful sandy beaches perfect for relaxing and swimming. There is a grassy area by the beach for children to play.
Golfing: There are two nearby golf courses at Buncombe Creek and Chickasaw Pointe.
Outdoor firepit use: Fire pit is available. WE DO NOT PROVIDE FIREWOOD DUE TO INABILITY TO HAVE IT DELIVERED. You will need to bring wood if you planĀ to have a fire. I will provide info for a gas station that sells bundles if you would like to pick it up on the way. It is only 5 mins from the home. Be cautious of ash and respect any burn ban laws in effect.
Grocery stores- There are 2 convenience stores within 6 minutes as well as a Dollar General. A Super Wal-Mart is located off Highway 70 between Kingston and Madill and is approx. a 15 mile drive. Grocery stores are also available in Kingston.
Nearby restaurants-The town of Enos is located 6 minutes away and has a restaurant, The Gateway Mall, with a variety of food serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is also a great Mexican Restaurant Called Gringos. I really recommend it. Kingston is approximately 15 minutes away and Madill is approx. 20 minutes away. Both have a variety of restaurants. There are also several restaurants available on the lake by boat. Two of our favorites are āThe Island Bar and Grillā located at Lowes Highport Marina and āPelicanās Landing Waterfront Restaurantā at Cedar Mills Marina.
HOSPITAL-Integris Marshall County Medical Center in Madill, approx. 20 minute drive.
Good housekeeping habits should be exercised through the stay. Prior to departing, make sure no spilled food is left in the microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven, or fronts of cabinets, or floors. Wipe all surfaces so they are free of food, drink, or grease. Wash all dirty dishes and return to cabinets. Take inside and outside trash to the dumpster.
A late checkout fee of $50/hour will be charged to guests who have not vacated the home at the standard 11:00 checkout time, unless late checkout has been approved. Housekeeping arrives promptly at 11:00 to ensure ample time to clean and prepare for next guests. This additional fee covers the housekeepers time as they are left waiting.
Any excessive cleaning cost (at a rate up to $50hour) will be charged to the guest or deducted from the deposit. This fee will apply to additional cleaning of pet mess, including excessive hair, etc. Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds due to excessive cleaning it requires. If it is determine there was unauthorized pets, or that pets were on any beds or furniture, the security deposit will be forfeited. We often have back to back bookings and excessive cleaning due to pet hair being imbedded in furniture and linens do not allow us to stay on schedule. Pet fee is for the convenience of bringing your fur baby, not to pay for additional cleaning. Please be respectful of the pet rules. Absolutely no smoking inside the home. If it is discovered smoking inside occurred, guests forfeit the entire security deposit and are responsible for additional charges to clear the home of smoke odor.
Fish: absolutely no fish carcasses are to be thrown in the dumpster. If you clean fish you take them with you and dispose of properly. No one wants to smell rotten fish during their vacation. This has been an issue in the past so they are now recorded. If you or your guests dump these items in the garbage you the $200 deposit will not be refunded as I have to pay someone to clean the dumpster .
Owner requires a copy of a Drivers License on file for reserving.
