Built in 2001, this luxury chalet faces south and west with views across the valley in a bright, sunny position. There are views of the mountains and whole valley from the chalet and no buildings in front. We can spend hours with a glass of wine just watching the changing light on the mountains.
It offers 4 double or twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 en suite), and a shower. it has its own private wellness centre with a steam room and a sauna. There are two living areas, both with double sofabeds. One of them is a huge luxury leather one. It has two TVs, both with several English channels. It is rated 4*+ Luxury by the local Tourist Board.
No need to hire a car for this chalet. Trains from the airport drop you just 5 minutes' walk away. A bus stop is 50m from the chalet, and the free bus ferries you around the village and between the ski areas. The nearest bubble car, ski area, ski rental shop and ski school is just 5 minutes' walk away. Our record is being on the slopes with hired skis within 30 minutes of the train dropping us!
If you have kids, the nearest ski school specialises in teaching children and has lots of English instructors. If you have very small kids, there is even a crèche with fully qualified staff at the top of the nearest mountain where you can leave 18mn-5yr olds for an hour to a day whilst you ski.
The kitchen is equipped with every facility including latest cooker/microwave and hob, etc. Even a fondu set is provided!Large fridge/freezer. the kitchen and bathrooms are fitted with Italian tiles. The décor is modern/cozy with paintings sourced from Denmark, and traditional antique local prints.
There are traditional Swiss wooden chairs as well as comfy sofas. Fitted carpet throughout. Bedrooms are lined with walls and ceilings in traditional pine. Cable TV, including several English channels radio, CD, DVD as well as WiFi throughout the house. A large area for ski clothing and equipment. All washing facilities, including washing machine, drier, iron, ironing board. Stunning views, just 5 mins walk from the nearest cable car.

Klosters is justifiably world famous as a ski resort. Offering everything from beginners to black runs and huge off piste areas- no wonder Prince Charles goes there! The Ski Club of Great Britain has a rep there throughout the season. There are 5 different ski schools. But what makes Klosters so special is that it is still also a small traditional Swiss village with wooden chalets. Permanent population is just 3000. For non-skiers there are walks through glorious forests and trips to 18th century shopping towns such as Chur, and many traditional Swiss tearooms - so different from purpose built resorts!
In Summer there is a huge outdoor swimming pool, a sailing lake at Davos, walks/treks/and climbs. For children there are playgrounds, zoos, horse rides. This is Heidi Country with specially marked walks amongst the tiny villages. For adults, there is even a tour of the highest vineyard in Europe. The highest brewery in Europe, about 15 miles the other direction, also offers tours!
