It is a predominantly rural area with excellent dark skies for star gazing, on a clear night the Milky Way is clearly visible, the Space guard Centre (small observatory) is less than 0.5 miles along the road and well worth a visit, while being a rural location, you also have easy access to more major towns & cities, country life is why people come and visit and in many cases return year on year or even move to this beautiful unspoiled area to escape the ‘rat race’ and take life at a slower more enjoyable pace.

Your Hosts the MacPherson Family live just over the field, so if you need anything just ask, otherwise we leave you to enjoy the peace.
