Very nice hotel with excellent staff. It might have been more difficult to get there without our local friend who understood Japanese, but it was worth the effort. Would gladly stay there again on next trip to Japan.

This is a good budget friendly place to stay when you want to visit the famous tourist spots of Kyoto. Staff are always friendly and humble. Room is small as I expected and compact but give you everything you need from wifi to mirror screening on the 27 inch TV and easy to link to. I love the Japanese robes they give you and replenish things daily. Restaurant food is good as well. I took mostly the taxi or Uber to get around Kyoto (Bamboo Forest and temples) or walked to places like the Ninja & Damurai museum located at a large popular market.

The staff were friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. However, there is limited cleaning and it’s once every 3 days but in-between no trash pickup, so it will pile up. Cleaning seems haphazardly done, still lint on the carpet and strands of hair left in the washroom even after they cleaned the room. Room size is decent, enough space to open suitcase and move around. Liked that there was a little dinning table and chairs in the room. The microwave and laundry facilities is on the main floor as the lobby so it’s a little inconvenient to go down and see concierge each time. It was noisy and the rooms aren’t really sound proof, depending on your room location, you can hear all the road traffic outside. Overall, we would give 3 out of 5 stars.

Staff were very nice, sent me new amenities everyday! There are restaurants and small shops and supermarkets within walking distance. Train and subway stations are also walkable.

The room was quite spacious but we were upgraded to a bigger room (free of charge). The breakfast buffet at the hotel was also pretty good (lots of options to choose from). There's a bit of walk if you want to take the subway but there are two bus stops right beside the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

This was our first time staying at an APA Hotel and we were not disappointed. It's very clean, safe and practical. They also offer a large range of amenities in the room.

This was an APA property. The rooms were much larger than APA rooms in Akihabara, but I couldn't compare them to other hotels in the area. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were nice. The beds were comfortable and the controls on the bed were useful. It was convenient for transportation, as there were bus routes nearby that could take you to the station or to shrines. But the area around the hotel itself lacks many restaurants or shops. You'll likely need to take a bus to shop anywhere or to dine. Luckily, it's a 10 minute ride or so to get to Nishiki or similar shopping/dining areas.

Very close to bus stops. It’s located in a central location. I enjoyed my stay here. Staff was courteous. They do have a washer and dryers. The bed was comfortable. If I am back in Kyoto this is a nice spot. Also super affordable. There is an awesome bakery close by that the locals love so go check it out .
