Location is good. We took a taxi every time and it was 10 to 15 minutes ride to the places we wanted to see. Hotel is small, rooms are tiny. Clean rooms and bathrooms. We were upgraded to a larger room(at no extra cost) and our 26 year old finally got to sleep in a real bed. Staff were lovely and helped us forward our luggage to Tokyo. Very clean and quiet. Our only disappointment was that we could not book a second night.

GREAT staff cute rooms. The air conditioning squeaked in both rooms. Wonderful free shuttle service to temple and bamboo forest. Great breakfast. Slept like a rock! I would stay there again.

Best value for sure, price was very competitive, super clean and the staff service was amazing. Definitely looking forward to stay here again. You may drop off your luggage if you arrive early to Kyoto, they also have shuttle to golden palace and bamboo at no additional cost.

Awesome hotel in prime location
It's a very convenient located nice modern hotel. Check-in and check-out process are seamless. You can use the counter or kiosk. Their breakfast buffet is excellent. Juice, toast, rice curry, salad, western and Japanese breakfast are there for your liking. I purchase three breakfast on the spot for ¥1800. They are eco-friendly in a way of you don't need maid service, they won't bother you for 3 nights or you just put a sign out there and they will come fix it up for you which I like. Personally I found everyday maid service is excessive. Besides subway, they also have bus stop close by. So if you want to go Gion district. Just about 7-9 mins walk to the station. Staff are friendly and courteous. They have laundry ¥300 wash with detergent and ¥100 30 mins dry. Very reasonable. And they have machines' status show on their TV. So you know when they are available.

This was a very nice hotel for a family of 3 with a toddler. The most spacious room we have stayed at in all of the hotels we were in while in Japan! It fit 4pcs of our luggage (2big & 2small) with more space for our toddler to crawl and walk around. Staff was also kind to help fill out our forms for luggage delivery. They also showed us the one elevator that lead us outside without having to use the entrance stairs considering we had a baby stroller. The breakfast buffet was also good. Downside was they didn’t have enough pillows to offer us. Nishiki market was 18-20min walk away which isn’t too bad considering we walk a lot while in Japan anyways. Subway is also not too far from the hotel. There’s also convenient store and grocery store nearby! Very convenient that they offer a free shuttle to the Golden temple and bamboo forest - what a bonus! We had a great time during our stay as a family!
