This hotel is right above a subway station and it is just 4 stops away from Kyoto Station. And, there are plenty of outlets for foods and convenient stores, supermarkets and pharmacies for everyday need. Lastly, it is in close proximity to quite a few places of interest.

This hotel is very well located, just above the Marutamachi station of the Karasuma line. The room (deluxe twin) is beautiful and the view from the window is a very well designed illuminated tree view. The room is quiet, spacious and clean (we had to change room twice because of a bug and then because the bathroom smelled moldy, but they accommodated us quickly). The beds are not the most comfortable, but it is to be expected in Japan. The service is very good and we will definitely be returning to this hotel next time we're in Tokyo.

This is a nice property. It’s clean and modern. It’s in walking distance to some major sights and right next to a subway station making it convenient. My biggest gripe is the laundry room situation… It’s bad. The machines were always in use and/or there was always a line. Any time of day. Whether it was 7 a.m. or midnight. We ended up paying over $100 USD to wash a couple outfits and some underwear and socks to hold us over. There needs to be a better system for the laundry or more machines. I’ve never seen anything like this.

This way the best hotel by far! We stayed in 6 different hotels in various areas in Japan, and this one was the best! The room is clean, spacious, counter space, amazing shower, sitting area with table so we could eat there, and the mattress was amazing! The lighting and the colors in the room makes the room cozy and beautiful. We chose the “garden view.”it was cheaper and BEAUTIFUL! So glad we did! We walked to Nijo Castle and the Sento Imperial Castle bec it was close. We also walked to nishiki market, a bit longer walk, but we enjoyed it would highly recommend! I would definitely stay again!

The staff was professional, friendly, courteous and really took the time to understand our needs when there were issues. It was close to the subway station, but you couldn't even notice the sound. Just a great solid place to stay at the end of a long day.

A fantastic hotel with incredibly welcoming staff. It’s conveniently located above a subway station and just a 15-minute walk to central Kyoto’s attractions, shops, and restaurants. The area has plenty of dining options and is only minutes from the castle. The beds and room were extremely comfortable, and the small gym and attached coffee shop were great additions. Highly recommend, especially for the exceptional service.

This hotel is perfect, they have a laundry area which we appreciated, the breakfast is great and the coffee shop next door is fantastic. We got to the hotel at 2 pm and asked if we could check in early and were told potentially and then were told no because check in is strictly at 3, keep that in mind if you think they might accommodate because it’s an American chain. The room was spacious and the bathroom was a standard American bathroom, not Japanese
