I had everything i needed at this property. Staff were friendly and super helpful. Clean and comfortable. No view on level 1. Couldn't open my frosted window for more fresh air.

We were on the second floor, and the people on the third floor were literally banging on the floor from approximately 10:30 pm until 12 midnight. The office lady came to our room after hearing the noise and spoke to the people on the third floor, requesting that they be quiet. However, the noise persisted, and we were unable to sleep until 1am. We then asked the office lady if we could change rooms the next day, but she informed us that the people on the third floor would be leaving the following day and that there should be no more noise. Unfortunately, the next day we experienced the same issue with noise until midnight. But the office lady was helpful answering all questions she was very lovely

Perfect room for family of 4. The apartment has a modern and spacious feel to it. They do not provide cleaning service for stays less than 7 nights, however, we didn't mind. They had separate AC units, one in the common living room and one in the bedroom which was nice. The kids loved having their own section on the tatami mats. Closest train station is about a 9 minute walk. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again when we return to Kyoto.

So spacious! Aussie family with 2 adults, 2 teens. Private bedroom and private futon room. Big shared dining and lounge area. Literally our favourite hotel during our stay! Washing machine in the room was well used by us too. Love this place

Not a typical hotel, but nice.
It's kind of something between a hotel and a shared homestay. There was a working staff when we checked in, but for many times there are nobody there. You get the instruction online. But the place is very new and clean. It's like 1/2 of the station distance to the subway or bus stops nearby, and it's in walking distance to the famous Yasaka Jinja, and Kiyomizu Dera. The room is very clean, and comfort. I enjoyed it a lot.

Our family loved staying at Minn Kiyomizu Gojo. The apartment was huge and comfortable. The washer/dryer unit inside our apartment was also very useful. The location was very conveniently located within a block from Kiyomizu Dera Temple and 2 miles from Inari Shrine. Several bus stops close by, and walking distance to Nishiki Market.

Excellent place, oddly frustrating check-in
The room was excellent, I liked the kitchen, it had free in-suite laundry, and the location was perfect. The only real problem is that they had a self check-in system, but instead of sending me the information for the procedures at the time of booking, they waited until just before the stay. I'm sure this seemed reasonable to them, but by that time we were already in Japan, and the member of the party who made the reservation had trouble getting working internet. So we were blindsided by the need to work out photos of our passports and navigate their check-in website on the night we arrived. You had to reach their check-in website using a QR code from your phone, which would be a problem for less tech-savvy travelers or those with internet problems. They actually had an employee on site who you would think could have taken care of that (even if that just meant inputting all the same information into the webpage for us) but she mostly just stood there and smiled and pointed to the QR code. Other than that, the place was excellent, and I would stay there again.
