A beautiful hotel with a great rooftop bar and morning coffee area. A 15 minute walk to the Gion area. If going to use the subway it is a 20 minute walk or a 3 minute walk to a bus. We found taxis and walking was the best way to get around. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We enjoyed our two night stay very much! The rooms were clean and modern, and the location is walking distance to Gion and to Kiyomizu-dera shrine. I really recommend the bakery, and the restaurant on the bottom floor just past the lobby (Cicon). Food and atmosphere were both great.
