Small rooms (as expected) but very clean and the AC is great in the heat. Was in a great location for walking and also for public transportation. LOTS of options for food right out your door essentially. 10/10 would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Kyoto!

A centrally located average hotel
The hotel is located on the main business street of Kyoto. Kyoto is full of visitors and tourists at this time of the year and it is hot and humid. My room was a single room, small but practical. The bed was fine. There was no view out of the window. The lobby was packed with suitcases of people checking in or out and it was crowded. The two receptionists tried their best to help. Breakfast was very minimal and not satisfactory at all,

The hotel location is excellent but the rooms are very small. Furthermore, there is no closet, table or chair in the room, so we had to live out of our suitcases. Also no extra blanket. The bathroom had a bad smell. Altogether overpriced for the facilities.

The front desk staff are kind and attentive. The room is clean and comfortable. The location is excellent: restaurants, bars, shops and bus/train stations are within a walking distance. Extra points for being right next to the arcade games (Round1).

This was a modern and clean hotel in a great location. There was a streetcar stop just across the street. Nishiki Market was nearby. I used the washing machine, which was very easy. No need to get detergent even. I would definitely stay here when I come back to Kyoto.

A pleasant enough stay. I had the misfortune of getting the "solitary confinement" room which had very little natural light and the frosted window looked out onto a grey concrete wall about 2m away, with only a slither of daylight visible. The carpet in the common corridor was obviously stained and could do with a clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

This is a very clean and modern hotel. It’s conveniently located close to many shops, markets and restaurants, as well as popular tourist attractions in Kyoto. The price I got was incredible!! Highly recommended!
