Fantastic Stay
The pictures of the property don’t do it justice. It is the quintessential Provence experience - small, quiet location and the property’s pool, terrace and rooms are fantastic. Thierry kept in touch with us and ensured we had everything we needed.

An absolute gem
Despite we stayed in January we enjoyed every moment; the location, surroundings, tranquility and closeness to the cities met all our current needs. The house is well equipped, clean and spacious. One of the better ones we stayed at.

Will go back again.
My daughter, granddaughter, a friend, and I spent a week here and we wish we could have stayed longer. This home had everything we needed for a vacation lifestyle, including a well maintained swimming pool, and a great view from the back yard. Bastide des Jourdan was ideally located for visiting the areas of Provence we wanted to see, and has a small grocery store and good boulongerie. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Fantastic location for hiking, dog walking and exploring Provence!
We had a wonderful stay at Hélène et Thierry place in Le Bastide de Jourdan. It ticked all the boxes for us in terms of location and size - a wonderful enclosed garden the dog could enjoy, a covered pool, BBQ. The village itself was charming. We'd walk to the bakery most days and then did plenty of hikes nearby. We also explored Bonniuex, Lacoste, Colorado Provencal, Aix en Provence all easily reachable by car. Hélène et Thierry ended up staying in the small converted house on site which wasn't a problem for us but we weren't told about this beforehand nor the cleaning which was asked for in cash for when we departed. We ended up getting up early and cleaning ourselves as there had only been the two us and it was no problem. Would recommend travelers check these details with the owners beforehand to avoid any complications. A great place and would definitely recommend.

Well appointed house with pool
A very nice house with pool in the Luberon. We spent a week here - actually we spent most of our time out hiking or visiting the market towns, but the house was ideal - a cool retreat from the heat of the day, with a small pool to relax after a day in the hills. The kitchen has everything needed, plus a gas barbecue, and there's a very attractive family bathroom with shower/wet room and roll-top bath. The lovely Helene and Thierry were great hosts, and gave good advice on things to do: Thierry is a hike/bike guide. Best things: the market at Forcalquier and the Gorge de Regalon. The pizza restaurant at La Granons is really good too.

Beautiful house
We spent one week in the Provence and really enjoyed our stay there. The house is beautiful and very charming. There is everything you need to make your stay comfortabel. The garden is really nice to relax and play Boule etc. and the pool is very clean and has already had 26°C (in May)! We really want to come back!

Wonderful house
The house and the whole property is really lovely and provides everything you might need. It feels more like a home than a holiday house and could have been rented from friends or family. The village itself is not big and doesn’t really provide much to see or explore. Even though the distances e.g. to the cedar forest or Apt are not that great, the small country lanes make them a longer trip. So, if like us, you don‘t want to go sightseeing all day long and always go out for dinner, but relax on a nice private property instead, beside the pool in a well-kept garden and with a fully stocked kitchen, this place is for you.

Great stay in Luberon
The house is spacious, tidy and well equipped. Thierry is super friendly and helpful, a perfect host! Our children loved the heated swimming pool. The village of La Bastide des Jourdans is also lovely. It has a bakery, a good restaurant (Cheval Blanc) and a small shop within a 10 minute walk. Highly recommended, we would love to come back!

Wir konnten einen sehr entspannten Urlaub in einem sehr schön eingerichteten Haus verbringen. Alles was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt war vorhanden. Das Haus war sehr sauber und man konnte den Urlaub vom ersten Moment an genießen. Der Pool brachte für die heißen Tage die notwendige Abkühlung. Sehr netter Kontakt. Das Haus selbst ist prima gelegen und wunderschön. Nutzt man die Fensterläden, sind auch Temperaturen jenseits der 35 Grad zu ertragen. Ansonsten gibt der Pool eine hervorragende Abkühlung. Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre, den Zaun zum Grundstückende zu erhöhen, aber das ist nur der Wunsch eines Hundehalters. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Top house
The house, the garden and the pool are beautiful. There are no nice trails for jogging or biking, just streets. You always have to go by car to reach a path for walking. But anyway, we enjoyed the house and the pool very much.

Alles fantastisch
Mooi en rustig gelegen heel fijn gezellig ruim huis. Zwembad was heerlijk. Alles netjes en schoon. Nabij gelegen dorpje heeft alles wat nodig is: bar, bakker en kleine supermarkt. In de buurt zijn prachtige wandelingen!
