This front line beach house is situated in Butibamba, La Cala de Mijas.
Four double bedrooms, south facing with fantastic sea views. This beach house has the option to cater for up to 8 people. There is a spacious lounge which provides TV /DVD & Free WIFI . The kitchen has full cooking facilities as well as a microwave oven. The house is fully air conditioned supplying hot and cold air. At the front of the house there is a sun terrace where you can dine al fresco looking out to sea, which is 7 meters away.
The rear terrace provides a washing machine and two 150 ltr water tanks ensuring sufficient water to cater for all your needs. On the first floor there is a balcony where you can relax, read a book or simply watch the boats go by. The house has a well stocked linen cupboard and ample beach towels.
Should you require a house clean whilst you are on vacation, this can be arranged.

A popular street market is held every Wednesday and Saturday on the large fairground site which becomes the venue for the annual fair and local fiestas which begin on 25th July.
La Cala de Mijas is also an excellent base from which to visit Puerto Banus, Marbella, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Benalmadena and a trip to the beautiful Mijas Pueblo is a must. A bus service runs every 15 minutes which can take you to Fuengirola or Marbella from Cala de Mijas.

Restaurants
There are numerous restaurants in and around La Cala, most within easy walking distance or a short car ride away. Every taste is catered for; apart from the traditional Spanish fare including tapas and paella, international cuisine is available including Thai, Chinese, Indian, Italian to name but a few. The beachside chiringuitos serve amazing fresh fish and sea food that is cooked ‘espeto’ over hot coals; the result is delicious fresh food with amazing views.
Formal dining is also available at the El Oceano Hotel and the newly opened Olivia’s where music and dancing accompany a great meal.

Sports
There is an abundance of sporting and recreational facilities located nearby including golf, horse riding, tennis and seasonal water sports. Keen golfers are spoilt for choice with competition-standard courses at La Cala, Mijas Golf and El Chaparral. There are numerous other excellent courses in the nearby locality.

A 5 star stay in a wonderfully appointed property
We really couldn’t have asked for more, we were a family group of 8 ranging from 9 years through to 84 years old! The property and location are the best we have ever stayed in, there was nothing that wasn’t there on hand in the house and the location was right on the beach, can’t wait to return. The communication from Ian the owner was first class and Diana who meet us on our arrival couldn’t do enough to help us. Magical break would recommend highly!

Any one looking at this beach house for a holiday I would strongly recommend it , the house is impressive and very well equipped and immaculately clean and being only 20 yards from the beach and ocean from which the outdoor terrace overlooks. Bruce the host welcomed our family with a glass of fizz and the basics to start your holiday off with which was a lovely gesture the house was very comfortable and spacious as we were a family of 8 adults

Fantastic property and location.
From booking through to the actual stay, Ian and Bruno were superb throughout. Any questions were quickly answered and both went above and beyond to ensure the holiday went as smoothly as possible. The apartment met all expectations, clean, well maintained and a fantastic location. To be able to get up in the morning and be able to look out onto the beach was just paradise. The apartment had everything that we could possibly have needed throughout our stay and Bruno was at hand to be able to offer any further assistance if we needed. There were lots of restaurants to choose from, with a good standard of food being offered. There was also good bus services to be able to explore further afield, with the bus stops a short walk away. As 6 adults and one 16yr old, the apartment allowed us plenty of space, whilst allowing us to be together. I would highly recommend this property and the hosts. Would definitely return. Thank you Ian and Bruno.

We have been to la Cala many times and stayed in many different types of accommodation I would say Casa Del Mar is probably one of the best for value for money and incredibly clean accommodation. I think it is best suited For 4-6 people.

Didn’t want to leave.
Lovely Beach house with great views, it’s impossible to get any closer to the beach and those calming waves lapping the shore. Only a short walk to the town centre with bars,cafes and restaurants within a 2 minute walk. Our stay was only a 5 day golf holiday but we all agreed we wanted to stay longer. Would highly recommend this Beach house for families or groups of friends.

Communication with Ian and Bruno was excellent. Bruno couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating on arrival and departure. Casa was excellent, all the amenities you’d need including aircon. Superb location, a short stroll to everything around La Cala. Although we didn’t try the beach/sea, a little too cold in early March, in the summer just a few steps from the door to the beach. Excellent all round

Fantastic house and location
6 friends on a golf holiday. The house was spacious and well equipped and easily catered for 6 adults. The location was perfect, 10 minutes stroll from the town centre. It sits on the promenade adjacent to the beach. We had hired 2 cars for the holiday and had no problem finding parking close to the house. Bruno provided us with everything we needed for check in and departure. I would highly recommend the house.

Fabulous property in a Fabulous location. This was our groups 2nd stay there. The finishing touches make all the difference as you have everything that you need for your stay. Upon arrival the fridge was full of drinks and milk. Everything was considered from napkins to washing tablets and everything else you may possibly need.

The most beautiful seafront stay with friends!
From the moment of booking Bruno and Ian made us feel we had made the right choice regarding accommodation and on arrival this was certainly clarified. The location is seriously beautiful as it is right next to the beach and the house it self was just perfect. It was super clean, well designed and had everything we needed and more! Little touches like beach towels and wine in the fridge say it all. Bruno was welcoming and then left us to it. He also allowed us to use the house until 4pm on day of departure due - which was absolutely fantastic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Had a 5 night break away with 5 friends. Property size was perfect/clean/modern along with the location where we were minutes away from shops, bars and restaurants and 10 metres from the beach which was great. Location, location, location
This is a perfectly positioned property situated just off the main promenade in Mijas. It's very well appointed and accommodated 8 adults comfortably - the bedrooms were spacious, well decorated and comfortable. The beach is less than a stone's throw away and beach chairs and towels are provided. We spent most of our time exploring the other resorts along the boardwalk and travelling up to Mijas Pueblo (definitely worth a trip). Communication from Ian was great and a warm welcome was provided by Bruno who checked we had all we needed periodically through our stay. There were even a few bottles of bubbly for our birthday boy on our arrival (nice touch). We all enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

A Perfect Beach and Tennis Break
Ian and Bruno provided everything we needed from beach towels/chairs to first morning croissants. The house was very well equipped and the location in a pretty pedestrian street next to the beach with shops and restaurants close by as well as friendly neighbours was perfect. Their communication was excellent. We would highly recommend them and the house.

Great house in an idyllic location right by the beach. The property had everything we needed for a relaxed holiday. We had no problems finding parking nearby. We enjoyed some beach days but also found plenty to do and see on our ten day stay, including trips to Mijas Pueblo, Fuengirola Bioparc, Ronda and Gibraltar. We would happily come back again! Thanks for a fantastic stay.

Wow fantastic property location hosts
Beyond our expectations, photos were accurate. Location second to none. The beds and furnishings were top quality. Noting was left to chance, water in the fridge on arrival. Our flight was delayed and Bruno had no issue with our late arrival and arranged for a local restaurant to stay open to feed the weary travellers. All communication with both Ian and Bruno were professional and helpful. We go again

Fantastic house in Mijas Cala
We had a fantastic stay in Ian’s house in Mijas Cala. The house is spotless , it has everything you need and a lovely setting by the sea . Bruno and Ian were great at communicating and the welcome pack was such a nice touch for when you arrive . Bruno explained all we needed to know and popped round during our stay to check all was ok .There is great space for a large group and we appreciated having the beds set up as singles for the six of us. There are plenty of restaurants nearby . We used the beach beds by Papa O which served good food. We would definitely come back and stay again at Ian’s lovely house . Thank you from the six of us
