Great place!
We took a chance on a new, mostly unreviewed place and didn’t regret it. Beautiful spot. We booked a Villa, and the beds and pillows were so comfortable, the room was incredibly clean, and any questions/needs you have are taken care of with a WhatsApp message. It’s an easy 5 minute drive into town for meals, and there is a small grocery store right down the street. Couldn’t ask for a better location.

This property is brand new, lots of space and work station as well. Bathroom was large and spacious with constant hot water. View of the volcano on a clear day from the rooftop. Easily accessible to town with uber, and only a few minute drive. Check in and out was easy with great communication.

Beautiful property! Stayed in the villa with another couple and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Private parking lot, nice staff, modern decor with lovely furnishings (inside and out), pool and landscaping, bonus washer/dryer in unit. Great for two couples or family. Could not have asked for a better start to our trip. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our stay at BAUMA. Celeste generously upgraded us to the Villa, as we were traveling with another couple and the room we had originally booked was not available. We loved having the common space to gather. Location is close to all of the sites in La Fortuna/Arenal.

What a unique and fun place to enjoy the surrounding beauty! There are two observation deck options and a patio with hot tub to enjoy the outdoors. The accommodations were lovely, clean and comfortable! It was easy to communicate with the virtual assistant and all went smoothly.

The Bauma is 8-10min drive from the restaurants and little shops. Near all the tour destinations like the Arenal Volcano and National park. Real good location. The room was clean and still looks very new and well taken care of. Clean glasses, dishes, microwave, refrigerator and even electric plate for cooking. Also a nice jacuzzi with a nice outdoor area. The rooftop is very nice with views of the volcano once the fog clears out. It was very foggy and cloudy when we went but that’s not the Bauma’s fault.

Wonderful luxury stay for a couple!
BAUMA was an excellent stay. The check-in was smooth and we were in easy contact with the virtual concierge in addition to the staff at the property. While there was an option for us to leave our bags with the on-site laundry room and staff before our check-in, the room was actually available earlier and we got to check in after confirming with the virtual team easily. The loft had thoughtful design and the hot tub was pre-heated upon arrival. The views from the balcony of the Arenal volcano were excellent, and highly recommend going up at dusk when you can hear the frogs in the distance and see some fireflies in the surrounding forest. Having the on-site parking made it super easy, and it's a short and safe walk into the nearby town for some great restaurants. Highly recommend staying here!

Loved it! It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchenette was perfect. Each unit has outdoor areas to hang out including a private patio with a hot tub. The views from the roof top sitting areas are breathtaking. It was close to restaurants and shopping. The staff is friendly and responds quickly. We will be back!!

I stayed here in July for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect. The views from the Airbnb were spectacular and cleaning service was offered everyday. They would deep clean the room and make our beds if we requested which I loved. We rented a car which I would suggest doing to give you the ability to explore more but it’s not necessary if you want to relax and don’t want to go too far. There’s plenty of shops, grocery store is down the road and also loads of restaurants. The parking space was a little tight I must say especially since we had an SUV. Other than that, it was a great stay. I would definitely come back 😊

Excellent stay in a clean and modern room. The bed is extremely comfortable and the bathroom is really modern with an amazing rainfall shower. The room has a seating area with a TV and a small kitchen area. The jacuzzi and outside balcony’s are also a nice touch. Safe parking is available on site and the main town is a short drive away. Celeste is a very helpful virtual host and provided all key information prior to arrival and always responded quickly with any queries. Overall a wonderful stay thank you Bauma and Celeste.

We just stayed at Bauma for 3 nights it was a dream. They are so organized and everything was so modern and clean. Great internet speeds, so close to la fortuna. Such beautiful landscaping. Celeste was so nice and responsive. One of the most modern and private places we have ever stayed at. We felt very safe ... there was always someone there at the front pavilion. Every morning you could hear the birds and howler monkeys. The property also has a lot of flowers an a whole area that had so many hummingbirds and butterflies. So clean and modern and fully stocked kitchen...the most beautiful surprise was the open air shower I felt like I was in nature it kept the bathroom at a great warm temperature so you can shower and change without being cold. So close to everything... driving distance was less than 10 min from waterfall and 5 Min to el salto, 15 min to tabacon and other hot springs

We really enjoyed our stay at Bauma! It is located a short drive from shops and restaurants and very close to the main activities in the area. Our host was very attentive and quick to respond via Whatsapp and no question was too much trouble. The hot tub is great and we loved watching the toucans from the day bed on the roof! We were surprised by the "outdoor" bathroom, but quickly got used to showering before it went dark (as lights attracted bugs) and learnt to keep the door shut - after this we both enjoyed the outdoor shower. The bedroom and kitchen facilities are in a single room on the ground floor which has enough space for two people. Overall it was a lovely stay and we would stay again and recommend.
