La Jolla Seaside Dream w/ Private Patio & Jacuzzi!

The interior boasts a modern coastal design, radiating a fun and stylish ambiance. The fully stocked kitchen allows you to enjoy some home-cooked meals, if you so choose to! Indulge in comfort and breathtaking views at our slice of paradise, located just steps away from the scenic La Jolla coastline!

The Space:
2 bedroom, 2 bath with beautiful ocean views and a private patio. You can't usually find a private outdoor patio with a hot tub and BBQ within walking distance (literally across the street) from the coast like this unit is! You'll love coming back from a long day at the beach to a nice hot shower in our outdoor shower (yes it has hot and cold temperatures!) and then sitting under the gazebo with the market lights on which is perfect for enjoying the company of your friends or family! Of course nothing beats the full relaxation of sitting in the hot tub after a fun day exploring all that San Diego has to offer. We highly recommend watching the sky light up in pinks and purples during sunset from the hot tub, or walking across the street and enjoying it from the little grassy park that sits right on the coastline. We also have a window AC unit, fully stocked kitchen, WIFI, Netflix, each essentials (boogie boards, a cooler, and a beach umbrella), and 1 underground parking spot... all in the best location in La Jolla!

The Neighborhood:
With a dramatic coastline boasting incredible views, it's no surprise that La Jolla is one of the most popular beach destinations in California. Surrounded on three sides by the sea and backed by the steep slopes of Mt. Soledad, La Jolla's natural beauty, abundance of activities and upscale village lifestyle ensure that it lives up to its nickname as "the jewel" of San Diego.

Consistently voted one of the top beach destinations in the world, La Jolla offers a wide range of accommodations from luxurious hotels to casual coastal retreats, along with museums and art galleries, one-of-a-kind boutiques, great restaurants and a slew of outdoor activities. Home to the famous Torrey Pines Golf Course and The Lodge at Torrey Pines, the scenic cliff area offers well-groomed hiking trails with spectacular views, and world-class golf. At Torrey Pines Gliderport you can soar out over the beach cliffs on a hang glider or just relax and watch the action above.
Along the dramatic coastline lies Scripps Park, where families can picnic throughout the summer, while enjoying Fourth of July fireworks and concerts under the stars. Just south of the park is the Children's Pool, where a seawall was originally built to protect kids from incoming waves, but has been long taken over by a local seal colony. People are no longer permitted to swim here, but you can walk out along the seawall for a close-up view of the wildlife.

La Jolla is also home to Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institute of Oceanography and plenty of cultural attractions including the La Jolla Playhouse and the Museum of Contemporary Art, all situated in close proximity to The Village. The University of California San Diego, which hosts the popular Geisel Library and the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, are both located in La Jolla as well.

La Jolla's biggest draw for locals and visitors alike are the beautiful beaches. During the summer and autumn months, the surf is relatively gentle, with warm waters in 70s. Swimmers, snorkelers, scuba divers, kayakers and surfers can enjoy the golden sands of La Jolla Shores, the Cove and Windansea. And be sure to keep an eye out for migrating whales off the coast as they travel to and from Baja California.

Getting Around:
La Jolla is a very walkable town! You can walk across the street to the seaside boardwalk / beach. Walk down there and you can walk all over to posh boutiques, shops, cafes, restaurants, and more!
If you want to get to any other parts of San Diego it's best to drive or use Uber / Lyft.

Other Things to Note:
Pets are welcome with prior approval and additional $125 pet fee.
**No pets without prior written approval. If you're bringing a pet, you must follow airbnb's pet rules: dispose of all pet waste properly, never leave pet unattended in the home or backyard, and keep dogs leashed when walking them outside of the home.

Leave the beach at the beach, please :) There's an outdoor shower in the back corner of the patio to wash the sand off before entering the home or hot tub.

San Diego now requires all guests to sign a Good Neighbor Policy document prior to staying. We do enforce their policy so it must be signed in order to receive checkin info, but we will make it super easy for you to initial and sign :) It can all be done online.
