Lovely hosts
The best thing about the property is most definitely the hosts who create a real homely feel and you do genuinely feel that they want to do what they can to make your stay the best they can. This is most obviously shown in flexibility around breakfast times and the offers of well cooked evening meals at a very fair price - for me this consisted both of a round table meal with other guests and the family; and also effectively room service (Remember to request in advance). A note is that, especially out of season, there isn't much locally including down in the village so it's certainly the easiest way to arrange an evening meal.
The room itself was cosy in all the good ways - self contained but with the ability to sit outside in the early evening whilst there still was some setting sun. For me, wanting a base for walks in the area, it hit the spot exactly as needed and providing excellent relaxation assisted by the homely feel.
