Hotel located on busy street; not for honeymooners
The hotel was clean and the best part about it was the waterfall shower head and thick, fluffy towels. The room was nice, but the neighborhood made us feel a bit unsafe. The hotel was located on a busy street, so we heard a lot of noise throughout the night (e.g., people talking, cars revving, ambulances, etc.). We wish we had known that we weren’t going to be within walking distance of the sites. I’m not sure I would book this hotel again, but one of their redeeming qualities was their friendly staff.

Overnight stop
Had a good over night stop. Very comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast. Both check in and check out very good. Only bad point is when we returned from dinner at 9.45. The 24 hour receptionist was no where to be seen. Front door locked. We followed the instruction to ring the Door bell. But no one came. We eventually called the hotel and a staff member appeared from a bedroom. But it took 15/20 mins. She argued the fact it was only a minute or two. But then conceded to the fact the bell was not working. This was not good when we were told that Valerie would be on the desk overnight. Otherwise a great hotel.

Not quite what we were expecting
I booked a room with a balcony to relax on, it was however full of pigeons and once they had been scared off the balcony could not be used because all the furniture was covered in their droppings. These were not cleaned when the room was so my wife and I were unable to use it throughout our stay. Also the hotel reception is closed between 12.00 - 16.00 so you cannot access your room, which was inconvenient as we had left our wet weather coats in our room. The hotel also offered free parking which we were not given and advised to pay for on the road parking, the French guests were offered the free parking.

Avoid Villa C Hotel
Do not stay here. We travel a lot and this is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. For starters, the hotel completely closes between 12-4PM, so even if you have a room, you cannot be there. The owners are the most inhospitable people you would EVER want to meet. When I asked a question about parking, a subject on which they misled us, the owner said, "I already told you that. Weren't you listening?" My husband uses a cane and fell down the narrow, unlit stairs because they made no attempt to accommodate him on the ground floor (elevator broken - think Big Bang). The courtyard promise is a slab of cement next to a gravel driveway.

Not as good as expected
The reception desk is magnificent. Moarking is almost impossible. The hotel rooms didn't appear to be finished. The bath didn't fill. The bed was very comfortable and with the blackout curtains we slept in. We would not return to this hotel.

TERRIBLE!!!
Staff was rude. Would not allow us to use elevator nor use parking next to our room which had NO cars. It was raining and would have made it easier to unload luggage. Internet was terrible and had to go to lobby. Would never stay here again!!!

A lovely hotel - clean, comfortable and welcoming. Our host, Anne-Olivia, who is one of the owners, was wonderful. She made us feel very welcome, and spent time ensuring that we were well settled. A tip for travellers - buy the home-baked breakfast selection, it is well worth it. In the morning, we were greeted by the day-shift representative, Marianne. She went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. This hotel is outstanding

Good location
Negative side: 1) Supposedly there's parking provided as quoted in expedia and we asked and the staff (probably she's the owner) said we had to call ahead of time to reserve which was nonsense. As no parking was provided we had to park outside on the street with the paid parking spaces which was ok. However, as I did not have coins so I asked the hotel staff (the owner) to give me some small change of coins from a bill but she said they did not have any. So what could I do? Should I leave my car outside with the risk of being towed or given a ticket? I could not believe the hotel staff could be so not helpful and friendly 2) We (two gals) requested two beds when we booked but they said nothing was available. I had to sleep on the floor as I could not share a bed with someone after a 5 hours drive with another long drive the following day. So I requested an extra blanket but the staff (the owner) asked me why I would need two blankets for two person? What kind of service? 3) There were lots of spiders inside the room crawling around (not small ones) and basically I could not sleep at all. 4) During breakfast in the hotel which costed 13 euro per person. There were only bread, cereals, boiled egg, milk, juice on the counter. The staff (the lady owner) asked if we wanted any ham/salami/cheese. I ordered ham and she gave me one single piece. My gf ordered cheese then she came back saying there was no more cheese. The hotel was a boutique hotel with only 11-12 rooms
