the hotel checked us in automatically, without us ever receiving even a booking reference number, let alone arrive at the property. this is all a big scam, including hotels.com's service. beware that you will never get your money back!

This property has been under renovation for several years. Some of the rooms have been updated & some not. The renovated rooms are standard grade, this is not a lux Mariott. However the location is great & the staff is helpful.

This property is in an excellent possition to acces the villages. I have used this hotel for the last 4 trips to this area and this is the first time I was disappointed. House keeping is supposed to be done every other day, I was there for 14 nights my bedding was changed on day four only. The towels got changed after I asked and the floors were never cleaned I was very surprised after excellent service in previous years. Pool access was blocked randomly by the pool cleaner arriving at 10 am and closing the pool till noon. No warning to guest. I was sat by the pool in my swim wear nobody said anything until I enquired at reception. The security however has been greatly improved. The reception staff and especially the kitchen staff were amazing. They all work very hard and if it wasnt for them I would have rated my experience lower. I very much hope the problems can be sorted as I have loved using this hotel in previous years.

Underwhelming for the price!
Was underwhelmed by room condition, cleanliness and amenities for the price and location. Not what I expected from this chain having stayed in their other similar properties. The front desk staff was less than helpful with any question or request. Would not recommend or stay here again.

Pay early because we're sold out....
I didn't appreciate the phone call the day before the trip demanding early payment. When the reservation was made, I selected pay at check-in at the property. So was charged more because of the option to cancel, but charged a day before check-in.
