Beautiful home in the heart of Lafayette

Located in the quiet yet centrally located neighborhood known as 'the saints streets', this beautiful Acadian cottage is located minutes walk from both Downtown Lafayette and University campus.

The space
Recently updated (2021) this home has the old world charm of Acadian home architecture combined with unique interior and landscape design that will leave you feeling like you've had a luxurious experience away from home.

Ample space for 2-4 people to stay with 2 bedrooms equipped with queen beds, we can offer a baby crib on request also. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes guest washer and dryer, The bathroom includes plush towels, a shower bath and a pedestal sink. The Living area includes a smart tv, wifi, dining area and a reading nook.

Outdoors there is a great outdoor space at the back of the property for grilling and drinking coffee under a grape vine canopied porch. A large private front porch also offers seating and an enjoyable environment for watching the world go by.

There is private off street parking for 1-2 vehicles on the property. There is a lock box affixed to the door frame that holds the key to the front door

Other things to note:

The building is a duplex with one adjoining wall. Little to no noise gets through but large parties are not allowed.
We also strive to maintain an allergen free space and conduct extensive cleaning between guests. No smoking or pets please.

Great stay in Lafayette
This home was very spacious and comfortable in a nice quiet neighborhood close to many points of interest. All communication was clear with hosts. Got to meet one of the hosts, Jeanne Marie, she was very welcoming and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

Grandson's Perfect 1st Birthday!!!
We initially booked this property based on it's proximity to our son's house. We were 3 short blocks down the street in the historic saints neighborhood. The house was perfect and the owner went above and beyond when he heard we were staying to visit our wee one! He left a porta crib, changing pad and a highchair! Though we only did a family meal once at our house, it was awesome. We cooked salmon on the BBQ and everyone loved it including Parker! We were up early to enjoy coffee on the front porch and at the end of the day enjoyed a glass of wine on the relaxing couch. Our days were packed exploring Lafayette, having fun with our family and usually home late to a very cozy comfy bed! What more could you want? It was positively perfect!
