We have stayed multiple times but this stay on Saturday morning, august 23, the breakfast area was nasty. The lady working it was more concerned with socializing and talking on her phone. She said on the phone to someone "i am gonna f*** them up".The counters needed wiping and the food needed restocking. The waffle irons were not clean. Otherwise it was great.

My room was ok once they transferred us to a new room the previous room smelt like mildew because the air conditioner was leaking. Let’s talk about the breakfast! There was spoiled waffle mix in the dispenser. I told the attendant she said “ oh the must didn’t change it from yesterday “ I ask for a manager no one showed up. I was disturbed because my husband and daughter had consumed that spoiled mixture. The staff was very unprofessional. This was truly unacceptable

I booked a queen suite, when I got there I was given a king room I went back down to get the correct room and was told they did not have any double queen suites. I was given a double queen room. When we got inside, the carpet was soaked form a dripping ac unit. We again went down to be given another room that had cobwebs in corners of the ceiling and just overall didn't smell great. Wasn't the best experience.

The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean. The only thing I didn't like was the blinking of the smoke alarm. It flashed in my eyes so I had to hide under the covers to fall asleep and as I was waking up. The breakfast had a lot of choices and the coffee was good. The staff was very friendly. Easy to park.

Everything was good. The staff was very professional and nice. The only con I had was the toilet, lol. The toilet was very low, as if it was for a kid.

This property won’t have me as a customer again! This is my second stay here and each time, there’s an issue! The facility is not clean outside of the lobby and hallways areas! The bathrooms are full of wet rust and old hair, the carpets are disgusting, and our bedroom had SOAKING wet carpet (not due to the air conditioner). There was also a dead roach just resting alongside one of the beds. When I asked the front desk to check on the carpet, clean the room, etc…we came back after a long day to a room that had not been touched! Once I asked the front desk what happened, the agent told me we were moved to another room (we were NEVER CONTACTED!). The agent asked if I’d like to see the room…it was just a regular double room when we initially paid for a suite. We opted to stay in our original room. Then, the hotel wouldn’t adjust our pricing for the inconvenience because we booked through Expedia instead of the hotel chain. It was just a mess. Never again.

Location is great for getting around New Iberia. Close to interstate and not far from downtown New Iberia. Staff who cooked breakfast was great. They were friendly and kept breakfast buffet stocked. If you needed anything they were happy to help. Negative was our room was not cleaned during our stay. We were able to get fresh towels but no room cleaning. Thank goodness we are neat travelers
