The cottage is detached and sits on 1 acre of private rural land. The cottage is finished in a log cabin style and overlooks Loch Shin very close to the NC500. It is in walking distances to all shops and restaurants in Lairg but is situated on the edge of the town so is nice and quiet. The train station is also a short rural walk only 15 mins.

Property was amazing in size and location.
I spoke to the owner on numerous occasions and he was very helpful and considerate. Two kitchens and two bathrooms. Gorgeous. Plenty of space for the family and beautiful location. We did wash down the front of the building and the ramp and bbq area, spider webs but didn't take long and still got out to enjoy the beautiful weather. Furniture could do with a refurb but it has been a busy place. Very happy to recommend and would love to go there again. Thanks Paul. Mackenzie family July 2021

Basic, but bright and spacious.
House was perfect for our needs. Beds comfortable, everyone slept well! Plenty of crockery and chairs. Some surfaces needed wiped down upon arrival and second kitchen was not useable due to the smell of damp. However, the main kitchen met all of our needs and we had a really pleasant stay.
