Welcome to Edgar at Lake George Winery by Tiny Away, situated at one of the oldest wineries in the Canberra District. Where you can spend your holiday wine-tasting, watching sunsets, and stars at night rise above the Mystic Lake George. The ideal tiny house NSW retreat for vacationers to enjoy wine tasting, meet local animals, and more.
For those keen on a sunrise, we have a hiking trail that heads up to the mountain ridge and a "grape picking season," which guests are welcome to join.
The Space:
Edgar at Lake George Winery by Tiny Away is set high above the winery overlooking the Shiraz and sweeping views of Lake George. It is nestled at one of the oldest wineries in Canberra District such as Barton Estate Winery, Brindabella Hills, Canberra Wine, and more.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with a queen-sized bed that sleeps 2 persons. easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment (e.g., such as portable cooker, cookware, cooking utensils, cutlery, dishes & silverware), microwave, and a mini fridge. These include excellent bathroom facilities, such as a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for your use.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there are 2 tiny houses on this property, which are also rented out about 8 meters away. So expect some company from other guests as some areas are shared. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas.
We have an outdoor seating area at our restaurant, Westering, which can be used by the guests who bring their pets along

The property sits in a small town next to Lerida Estate which opens 7 days a week, and short 10 km drive from the town of Collector. Where you can explore restaurants, cafes, wineries, and activities. So, make an endless list of things to do and come visit Lake George Winery.

Other Things to Note:
- Mobile reception is good
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Pets need to be kept on leash at all times as livestock is present on the property
- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
Pre-orders
- We have restaurant and cellar door onsite and is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
- Dinner orders can be placed and collected during these hours or we can place the food in your tiny house if you are checking in late. Please call our restaurant to arrange this.
Safety Guidelines
- Guests with infants are recommended to bring their own portable travel cot during their stay
- We strictly advise guests to follow these safety guidelines to avoid potential accidents on the property
- Guests with children are advised to keep an eye on them as the property is a farm hazard that may be a danger to them
Important note:
- Please dispose of your trashes properly when you leave the tiny house
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Please report any damages or breakages inside or outside the property 24 hours before your departure
- There is another tiny house on this property which is also rented out, so expect some company from other guests
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
