Nice lakefront hotel with convenient cafe.
Beautiful location, nice beach and pool and very convenient pool cafe. Like many lake George hotels, there are some webs and bugs and the rooms could use a little updating. The bathroom and balcony need a more thorough cleaning. LOTS OF STAIRS to climb up and down to the beach. Nevertheless we thoroughly enjoyed the cafe and our entire stay and will definitely be back next year!

So bad. This can’t be safe.
Not safe with visible mold issues…buckling, peeling, black mold showing through all over the room. Also dirty, sticky surfaces, long hairs hair in shower, sandy floor, what looked like blood stains on sheets, etc. We took photos, thankfully. I will try to post as many as allowed. If you see any decent reviews or comments about how it has been “updated”, do yourself a favor and ignore that. We’re avid world travelers who have seen a lot. This was bad. We left a few minutes after check in and were told a refund can’t be approved since we booked through hotels.com. Hotels.com said they would help. They got back to me next day to say they were not able to get a refund. The rep on the phone when we decided to leave did deposit “key cash” to be used towards a different hotel on the platform, but a full refund never happened.

Pleasant service and maintained outdoor property. Room was a let down. Superficially clean (vacuumed floor, beds and bathroom neat). However we quickly learned the floors, while vacuumed, were not washed (wiping up spilled water turned the cloth black). Areas that are not really seen by guests, like behind the door, around the night table, the ceiling) has dust, bugs and webs. Bathroom floor was very water damaged. Service was good in the very few interactions. Property was kept tidy. The pool and beach were nice but rules were not enforced by staff (children running, tubes in the pool, jumping…which were an issue for us because it was dangerous for our 3 year old in the pool at some points). We did not bring our issues to the attention of the staff. PROs: Tidy room Excellent water pressure Functioning AC Pool Private beach CONs: Dirty floor in room Dust, bugs and webs in less trafficked areas of the room - but still visible and accessible General upkeep of the room
