The staff at the Georgian are so nice that I want to give it 5 stars . The room while immaculate was very stark. Nothing cozy about it. No chairs, no artwork, no carpet. Pillows were not comfortable and the bed was hard to get into because it was an extra deep mattress. (To be fair, I'm on the short heavy side.) The beach, and pool area were really nice.

I have not stayed in a hotel that was so stark in my entire life ... most try to decorate but this one, from the rooms to the restaurant, were empty of any attempt to add color or interest. No artwork, no plants, no color on the walls ... nothing. Maybe there are plans to add those things in the future ... and maybe there are reasons not to have those things in the hotel but, good grief, it was depressing. There was no way I was going to eat there. We went down the street to the Moose Tooth Grill and it was delightful!

The property is in an excellent location, close to bars, restaurants, and shops. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were quiet (we started further away from the pool and the beach) and clean. Coffee in the room.

There is so many options here. Drinks and food had many availabilities and we had a perfect lakeside view. The room was big and the lounge chairs were so comfortable to watch the lake in! Would definitely come back.

Room was very comfortable. Outside area is a little run down but still nice to sit out next to the water or firepits. Restaurant has many staff mulling around but only One person able to take orders, he serviced both tables and take out..

We had aroom with King bed. The bottom fitted sheet did not fit a king bed. Annoying at the very least. The room looked like it was remodeled in recent past, but again annoying no shower shelves for soap/ shampoo. The room was had no home feel to it.

This was our first stay in Lake George at The Georgian and I couldn't have picked a better hotel. The room was immaculate! It seemed newly renovated and everything was fresh and clean. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Since we stayed here a bit off season, we had no trouble parking our truck in the parking lot. Most things, such as shops and food were in walking distance. But if you wanted to explore the town farther, that walking distance becomes a little bit of a hindrance. Especially if you are not accustomed to walking those distances. Overall, this hotel is a great place to send a lazy weekend relaxing and dipping your toes in a lake with beautiful scenery. 10 out of 10 definitely would stay again!
