Charming apartment in antique village
Finding the place was a challenge since google maps couldnā€™t find it. Eventually it was quite a surprise when we got there since we were told we have to drive to a different place after a wait if 39 minutes. The place was well located and nice. However, it was dirty and could have been very pretty with some care. Overall the place is very nice and comfortable but not too well maintained. It has a small pool as well. The service was quick and good after we told them about any problem like air conditioning or the pool requiring cleaning.

Perfect place for a quiet weekend
My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at this B&B. Tochni is a lovely place, so quiet and relaxing, and this was the most beautiful spot to enjoy the village and surrounding. The pool and the yard around it are lovely, very peaceful. The room was very comfortable, the staff was very helpful, breakfast very good. I would only add blinds or darker curtains to the windows. We stayed on the ground floor and felt a bit exposed in our room as other guests walked by. Also, the shower could do with a little work, like a different and bigger shower curtain.

Traditional but updated
A simple lodging that has modern comforts: great bed, spotlessly clean, pool, kitchen, air conditioning, and great location in a small village. Using the mandatory taxi from the airport is a great idea because the village and it's lodging would be hard to find, particularly at night. Like most vacation apartments, you'll need to provide all consumables except toilet paper.

Lovely place, very friendly staff. Our appartment was in Dane house as we requested. I took my mother for a few days break. initially she was underwhelmed with the appartment... it was late at night when we arrived and she was desperate for a cup of tea. i had tea with me but no sugar or milk. Mum was surprised there was no basic welcome basket as there was no where open for us to get anthing. After breakfast the following morning Mum agreed the place was lovely. Basic but what more do you need on holiday. The beds were comfortable the cooker worked and the shower was excelent. Mum could get in and out of the pool easily and she loved our balcony.

Quiet relaxing place
The hotel comprises a cluster of renovated stone cottages at the top of a hillside traditional village with lovely views of surrounding countryside. The cottages are well equipped with air con, tv, cooking facilities and fridge, dining area and each has own shady terrace. Quiet relaxing place: small pool; possibilities for walking and cycling: bikes can be hired thro the hotel. The village has a beautiful old church; small but well stocked shop; atm; couple of taverns serving plain but tasty meals.

A quiet, relaxing time.
Rang the reception a few days before we were booked to fly out to confirm details as we were arriving very late (in fact about 1.00am). Really helpful on the phone and sent us directions, though in the event it was still quiet confusing (probably because we were so tired) and we missed the turn off for the place. Once we found it though, it was pretty obvious. Woke up the next morning and had breakfast in the restaurant, but we didn't repeat this and instead took advantage of the self catering facilities. We did enjoy our stay. We ate at the restaurant once (it was okay but nothing to shout about), but used other places in the village as well. Overall it was a great place to chill out and relax and get away from the noise and bustle of Lemosos, Larnaka and Paphos.

Lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful village
Tochni is a lovely village and the places to eat nearby are lovely. It serves as a good point for day trips to the surroundings too. The owner is very willing to share some local knowledge/help you out. The villa was nice. We had a little terrace with table, chairs and sunbeds. The pool, shared by only about 8 rooms (there's rarely anyone in when we wanted to be) was just down some steps. We had a kitchen for self-catering. Missing some washing up liquid but otherwise seemed to be well kitted out! The bathroom was a bit stuffy with no windows/ventilation but all worked well. No soaps provided though. Bedroom was nice - a good fly net over the bed and well-working air-con. Not much space around the bed though. Breakfast was a "help-yourelf" affair offering anything we could have wanted. Overall, we were very happy with out stay and would recommend to anyone else wanting a quiet, peaceful stay and helpful staff.

Superb quiet villa.
Informed staff that the television wasn't working, was told she would get back to us but never did. Not a major problem hence the fact that we didn't remind her but found it a bit annoying at certain times. Apart from that we were very pleased and would certainly recommend the villas.

We stayed for four nights whilst attending a wedding in the village. The staff were very friendly and helpful, quite happy to prepare some food for us even though we arrived a 10.30pm. The room was lovely with a kitchenette if you wanted to cook for yourself and we had the use of a second pool in addition to the main one by the Taverna. The village is lovely and very handy for the motorway so getting around is easy but you do need a car if you want to explore. A really good value place.

The wonderful village of Tochni - oh so central!!
The accommodation was superb! The Tochni Tavern which included the Cyprus Villages Reception office was staffed by very helpful personnel. The check in procedure was carried out quickly and effectively even though we arrived after 11pm. The apartments were clean and tidy and the kitchen was suitably fitted out with oven, hob, kettle, toaster and various cooking utensils. The pool facilities were also excellent. There is also a public pool outside the Tavern and reception. All of the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming . The food served in the Tavern (breakfast, lunch (snacks) and evening meal) was delicious and the menu for the evening meal was extensive. (My only negative point is the access road which is quite rough at the present due to local building work but hopefully it will be fixed in the next few months). The apartments were within a short walk of the town (using a short cut). It is quite steep and hilly and therefore if you are not confident with steps I would not recommend this, however you can hire a car through the office at a reasonable rate which would alleviate this problem. The village itself is lovely and the people are very friendly especially the local shop owner who stocks just about anything you would require.

Dejlig afveksling fra bylivet. Totalt afslappende.
Det er afsides andre turister. Man har brug for en bil nĆ„r man bor der, man kan dog leje el-cykler. Personalet er meget servicemindede og hjƦlpsomme, ogsĆ„ selvom man skal tjekke ind kl 4 om morgenen. Fantastisk og naturskĆønt omrĆ„de. TƦt pĆ„ strande i bil. 30 min. Til Larnaca og ca 1 time til Paphos. 3 min i bil til supermarked og MC Donalds. Altid varmt vand, AC og rene hĆ„ndklƦder. Selvom det er gamle huse, er der altid mulighed for kunne lĆ„se sine vƦrdier inde i et skab eller et rum, tag dog selv lĆ„s med. Det er lidt som i DK for 20-30 Ć„r siden. Det er et sted hvor du ikke skal vƦre nervĆøs for at glemme at lĆ„se dĆøren. Der er rum, sjƦl og plads till mennesker. Jeg vil vƦre der igen.

L'arredamento e' un po' datato e a volte trascurato,ma anche questo da il senso di vivere in un villaggio tipico. Silenzioso e tranquillo. Ci sono molti gatti(come in tutta Cipro),ma non li ho trovati invadenti. Personale disponibile. Il villaggio e' situato tra Larnaca e Limassol,quindi in cento all'isola. Ottima posizione per chi vuole visitare un po' tutta l'isola. Bisogna avere l'auto! Ottimo il rapporto qualita'/prezzo. Nel complesso.lo consiglio a chi non ha grosse pretese,a chi piace provare a vivere nei posti che visita,a chi e' non piacciono i grossi alberghi commerciali della costa.

Die Unterkunft liegt optimal, wenn man viel von Zypern sehen mƶchte. Die Unterkunft ist nicht hochpreisig, aber auch wenn man das berĆ¼cksichtigt und auch die Tatsache, dass man sich im ƶstlichen Mittelmeer befindet, ist der allgemeine Zustand und insbesondere die Ausstattung ganz Ć¼berwiegend auf extrem niedrigem Niveau (unbequem, nicht funktionierend, unzweckmƤƟig, unvollstƤndig, defekt ...).
