Nice balcony but otherwise student standard
This apartment has so much potential, but it's been neglected over several years, and is uncomfortable. We didn't enjoy our stay. The only plus points are the balcony, the location, and the spacious size of the apartment.
Kitchen sink - no hot water, only one of the taps worked.
Cooker - no rails in the oven, no oven trays. This meant you couldn't use the oven, not even to heat a pizza. I assume this was deliberate to avoid cleaning costs. But it's unfair on the customers who want to cook at home.
Furniture - old and uncomfortable.
Bed - creaky bed frame and extremely uncomfortable mattress. It's so old that you sink into the middle, and you can feel the springs and mattress bobbles through the sheet. The duvet was heavily stained (yuk) and didn't have a duvet cover, so we had to wrap a sheet around it.
Bathroom - The hand basin tap sprayed water in all directions. There was no hot water for washing your hands.
The only hot water in the whole apartment was the shower.
Overall, the apartment was basic standard. You get the feeling the landlord is not interested to spend any money on renovating it or making it more comfortable. I haven't lived like this since I was a poor student.
