The bathroom tub are old and disgusting they tried to paint them but the paint was fading away the looked so dirty

We enjoyed staying here, but the staff could have been a little more friendly when we asked for a bandaid. I also would have felt safer if the locks and the “peep hole” on the room door would have been “tighter” instead of “jiggling” when other room doors shut. I could tell that the hotel had just been revamped, so maybe they are working on this!

Clean and comfy beds and nice bathroom. Around midnight we heard a crash above us and for the next 3 hours, stomping and sliding and bumping. No sleep. Next morning was super loud banging and bumping in the hallway.

Limited hotels in eastern Mississippi
Limited option for hotels on the east side of Mississippi, so I think there is a little price gouging going on. Book early and book online.

The lady that checked me in was unfriendly. The room was clean and air conditioner worked great. The breakfast had a large selection if items. The morning staff at checkout were friendly and smiling.

The interaction with the front desk person was very unimpressive. We felt as though we were bothering her by entering the building. Not welcoming or friendly and she definitely was not service minded. We received our key card, went to our designated room, opened the lock which turned green and the door was locked using the flip lock! The room was already rented out! We had to go back to “ms. Unwelcome” I stated that there was a very unhappy man in the room she just assigned us- her response was “oh”. She assigned us a different room- never an apology, not even an oops! What a rock. The bed was ok and the room clean enough but geez not worth $180 To be treated like a pest!

We checked in to our room and went to grab lunch. Came back and found out they had given strangers a key to our room. We only knew because we could not get in to our & the nice couple admitted they entered the room thinking it was theirs. No apology or anything from the hotel staff.

Front desk was nice. Breakfast was good. Rooms were clean for the most part. Key card side doors to the building were permanently locked so everyone has to walk all the way around to the front of the building to get inside. One elevator was not functioning which caused lines to form when trying to use the elevator (it was Memorial Day weekend so hotel was full).
