What a beautiful property right on the Portneuf River! King size bed was super comfy. Everything was very clean. Checkin was easy. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the local town and eateries. Biggest surprise, and most wonderful, was the white noise machine! What a great option. There is traffic noise but it slowed down later at night and with the machine i didn't really notice it! Thinking about returning with our camper because it was a great stay.

Great People, and they make you feel welcomed. I will stay here again, but this time with our trailer. Amazing Spots next to the River. Rooms are nice as well. First time there to LAVA and First time staying here.

Awesome stay!

This was a great place for our family to stay. The rooms are a little small but we are okay with that made for a very fun weekend. Will definitely come back to stay again.

The HVAC was very loud, it would be producing heat, and then cold air.. we turned off to sleep but then got cold…. We won’t be staying there again!

In the cabin, there is no restroom. When it is 13 degrees outside that is quite inconvenient. I looked over and over for where it was made apparent that in a cabin you have no bathroom and could not find that. Had I known, I'd not booked there. Room was also freezing when I arrived. Turned on the room heater at the highest temp it would go to. It ran all night long and never got even kind of close to being comfortably warm. Positive note, the cabin was cute and clean and something that maybe in the spring or warmer weather I'd stay at.
