Avalanche Chalet is nestled on the ski slopes of Terry Peak and conveniently located near beautiful Spearfish Canyon, Deer Mountain, Rapid City, the Mickelson Trail and historic Deadwood.


Offering 1996sq.ft. of living space, with 3 Bedrooms and 2.5 Bathrooms, a large open great room with an expansive pine vaulted ceiling and picturesque windows flood the space with tons of natural sunlight and features a cozy fireplace and loft area, all designed with rustic and warm Urban-Chalet style furniture and dcor. A beautiful kitchen, fully equipped and includes a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink, dishwasher, custom cabinetry and centered around a huge wrap-around island with seating for 4 and an additional breakfast nook, perfect for entertaining and brings everyone together. This chalet also features an entertainment space on the lower level, a laundry room with two washers and dryer, free Wi-Fi, large TV's and a large deck with a BBQ grill and outdoor jacuzzi hot tub, all surrounded by breathtaking panoramic mountain views!

OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE for CHALETS:

Depending on the amount of snow on the mountain, this location has the ability to be ski in/ski out. If there is not enough snow and a trail in not able to be opened, you may have to go between 1/2 to 1 block to get on the slope.

-Parking Rules: Free Parking. 4-Wheel Drive is Mandatory during Winter Months

-Check-in time: 4:00PM. Check-out time: 10:00AM

-Early check-in/late checkout may be granted depending on availability with an additional cost.

-NOTE: Please be advised that room rate includes up to 10 people, an additional charge of $15.49 will be applied per person thereafter, up to the propertys max occupancy.


Disclaimer: In the months of October and November, it is the breeding season for flies. You may notice a higher number of both dead and living flies. Please note that this is a common occurrence in the mountain area of Black Hills during this season.


Please note, that we do allow guests 21 years or older to check-in and must be staying at the property.
