Excellent time few improvements suggestions
Overall good location excellent views everything that could be needed to prepare meals and store food adequate heat sources the only complaint is the lack of adequate sleeping options for couples of who do not have children one request would be more comfortable sleeping options for the lower level ie a daybed with a slide out underneath or a Murphy bed that could be stored against the wall instead of the bunk bed it just doesn't serve the purpose when the only other option is a windy spiral staircase to reach the beds of decent size that are on the floor which is also a difficulty for most people to get up from and climbing stairs like this is difficult

Absolutely no response from property management/staff when I reached out to them as a courtesy regarding a personal concern with the stay. I feel this is a significant expression of ignorance and complete lack of professional decorum on the management's behalf. I should have taken note of the numerous negative reviews for the property as well as the management's response to those reviews. Each response redirects all accountability from themselves and is bereft of any sincerity.

Needs a bit of updating - no vibe, loft seemed quite dangerous stairs were practically straight up. Motion lite would not shut off. Area around toilet felt like in was going to fall through floor. No hairdryer, no back blind on back door, bed doesn’t sleep 2 adults. View of lake was nice. We left day early because of all the issues made it not enjoyable.

Interesting stay
Interesting cabin. The loft/sleeping area is accessible for only the brave. The bathroom/shower are a bit tight. Be careful of the deck railing. The cabin is also 30 minutes or so from a grocery store. The gas grill is awesome. The kitchen and living space were both very nice. Vacasa was a great rental agency to work with!

Wouldn’t recommend bringing children.
It a great location and cozy cabin setting. The makeshift stairs leading to the upstairs loft area (top 3 beds) are dangerously steep. Also there were multiple broken rails around the deck area with loose panels. There were pictures of a dock included with the property and we were not able to use the dock as it was dry docked with row boats padlocked on top of it. Customer service gave is an “I’m sorry.”

Good location!
We had a great stay at the Sweet Retreat! The cabin is a nice home base for spending all day on the lake. It looks to be well loved and is in need of a few fixes but nothing that detracted from the stay for us. It had everything we needed. Plenty of beds and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. It was hot out so the cabin got pretty warm but there was a fan that helped to keep it adequately cool. The deck is nice but the mosquitoes were out in full force, lol, so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. We came for the lake and it did not disappoint! The walk to the lake is easy, even loaded down with bags. The scenery is beautiful. We really enjoyed this property!

Never again.
Property is in poor condition. Extremely high weeds. Small bathroom, with floor sinking around toilet. No railings for the front steps, my wife fell down the steps. That alone is not up to any building codes. Overall not satisfied and would not recommend.

Perfect upgrade to camping!
This little cabin was a gem! We had a great stay. There were plenty of beds (6 + couch), lots of clean towels and blankets, and kitchen had all the pots, pans and utensils needed. The water access was amazing and we loved kayaking all around that beautiful lake. The only upgrades that would make it even better are ... -Stair rail is loose (I thought the stairs to the loft were fine, but the railing was loose). -The screen door was torn and with all the mosquitos it really needed to not be. -The coffee pot lid was missing a piece and the coffee took over 2 hours to brew and not very tasty.

Unlivable
It was so hot that we knew no one would be able to sleep, yet we couldn't even open the slider to create air flow because of a huge rip in screen that let in the mosquitoes, that were plentiful and ravenous. The "floating dock" was a tetanus trap with broken boards and exposed rusty nails. We left after 2 hours and got a hotel in Leavenworth. We were denied any sort of refund because air conditioning wasn't listed in the amenities, so apparently we should have been prepared to sleep in a sauna.

Horrible
Had to shovel snow for 2 hrs just to reach front entrance. Was told it would be plowed before we arrived. Called the local number and was told I'd hear back from someone and never did. Ended up getting sick from sweating and being in the snow waist high for 2 hrs.

Very cozy getaway
Overall the property was very clean and the layout of the cabin was perfect. A few things that could have been better were the motion sensor light on the stairs up to the property would not work. The stairs were incredibly slippery and steep with no railings. Our dog slipped going down so we walked him around the other side of the property most of the time. The shower curtain needs to be replaced - the smell was terrible. The stairs inside were also updated and while very nice and stable it changed our sleeping arrangements because there was no way our dog could ever get up or down. They are extremely steep and almost more like a ladder - different from the listing pictures. Overall though it was very easy to get to and we had a wonderful stay. We left early on our last day because a wind storm knocked out the power. We would definitely stay here again.

Friends Weekend
Overall we had a nice stay and the cabin was cute and cozy and nicely laid out. There were some things that made the level of cleaning somewhat questionable (i.e. items found under the ottoman from the previous occupants) but everything looked and smelled clean and they clearly replaced soap and sponges between stays. Area is nice and the view is pretty with some easy water access. Was unclear at booking that this cabin is right next to the road but you couldn't hear people driving from inside the house. Would stay there again.

Beautiful and Comfortable!
Our stay at the cabin was amazing! We loved the location and little trail down to the water. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay and was well equipped for just the two of us or a larger group. The front bedroom has a full bunk bed with a twin on top. Makes for an awkward use of the room for a couple. But the loft had four queen sized mattresses for us to choose from so it was fine! With a bigger group it would’ve been hard to feel like you have any privacy, especially with the very tiny bathroom. But overall it was a very great space for just the two of us and our pup!

Not as expected, PLEASE READ
This property had its pros & cons, but the cons absolutely outweighed the pros. I’m not writing this review to be negative, but I want to share our experience so that other people aren’t blind sighted. The kitchen had a GREAT supply of utensils, dishes, & cookware. They had things that I didn’t even think of them having. The BBQ worked great. There was numerous bath towels & rags. The stairs weren’t nearly has difficult to get up & down as i expected. They definitely would be difficult to maneuver for someone with mobility impairments, but there is the bedroom downstairs as well. When I read that there was a baby gate for the stairs, I assumed it would be for the bottom to stop my toddler, but that wasn’t the case. There was a gate, that we didn’t try, upstairs that seemed like it would work well, but I would’ve thought the gate would be made to stop from going up, not stop from going down, especially because of the bunk beds in the downstairs bedroom. The weather was nice during our stay so we didn’t use any of the heaters, fireplace or fans. There was multiple fans of various sizes present up stairs, but at least the one that I looked at was very dirty & dusty. The lake access was easy to get to, as long as a person is in decent physical shape because it is a steep trail, & the water access was fine for what we needed. The floating dock definitely isn’t meant for spending much time on, but it was the perfect water entry for our son & dog. My biggest issue with this cabin was how dirty it was. Not only does this place need a DEEP cleaning, but it seemed like it wasn’t cleaned very well after the previous guests. When we pulled up the driveway, the first thing we noticed was the overgrown weeds surrounding the cabin. As soon as we walked inside we saw crumbs on the floor & counters, white animal hair on the couch (we have a black german Shepard so it definitely wasn’t ours), I found two string cheese wrappers shoved in the couch cushions, the kitchen cabinet doors were visibly dirty & felt grimy, the kitchen window had a white valance on the top with visible stains & dust, the wood walls & ceiling had an abundance of cob webs that were SO dusty you could see them from across the room, the shower curtain was cloth with visible stains as well as spots that looked like mold & smelt absolutely terrible, the toilet bowl was dirty, the toilet seat was extremely loose, there is spray foam insulation in multiple spots down stairs, & I’m sure there’s more

The price is right but this cabin has many safety concerns.
The “so called” floating dock is a pallet that had washed ashore! The online ad gives the impression that the dock is boat accessible! We could not tie a boat to it and therefore had to travel to the State Park each day to launch the boat. The beach is not child friendly and all rock. What a shame! The deck is in HORRIBLE condition and unsafe on too many levels to mention. The stairway is treacherous, unless you are a teen. We were scared our entire stay, that someone would be fatally wounded in a fall. The cast iron wood burning stove at the bottom is so scary! The “closet” of a bedroom is ridiculously small and the beds upstairs are mattresses on the floor! This cabin is only suitable for 2 adults and 2 children, so you don’t have to navigate those stairs! Plan on sleeping on the couch! A window air conditioner inserted during summer months would be a great investment! People should bring their own if they don’t want to swelter in the summertime, as we did. The bathroom door doesn’t lock! With a cabin full of people, there needs to be a locking bathroom door! The walk to the beach is very sketchy. You better be in good shape to make it down there, not to mention, back to the cabin. The beach is not sandy and pleasant at all. Luckily we were able to cross the lake by boat to enjoy a sandy beach or our stay would have been a total disaster! What a disappointment the dock AND beach are! We won’t be recommending this cabin and definitely won’t be returning! If the owners would spend a few thousand dollars, this place could be average. We were sadly disappointed.

Cute little remote cabin right by the lake.
The cabin is right across the street from access to the lake. The access right there is not as great of access as other locations but still really pretty to walk down and view the lake. It’s a quiet street with lots of others cabins but still felt private. It was VERY hot the weekend we were there and the cabin is rustic it doesn’t have AC or any great insulation so it did get really hot. But they provided fans which was all we could really do. It’s about 10-15 minutes drive to Wenatchee state park beach which was really nice. You can rent kayaks or paddle boards there. We enjoyed our rustic cabin stay.

Birthday weekend
A few things needed to make this cabin great! Hand towels, wash cloths, full length mirror. The spiral stairs and hand rail are not safe. Hand rail is shaky and the steps are small and inadequate. Cabin is cold unless you pay to buy wood and make a fire. There was no paper or materials to even start a fire. There was wood but needed to purchase it and for the price of the cabin should be included, shouldn’t have to pay more to warm it up. The pictures show the water close but you have to walk across the street to get down to the area that is pictured it isn’t as close as they advertised. Beautiful views from the cabin and peaceful and secluded. It’s father out of town so expect a drive. I would recommend this cabin, needs a few touches to make it worth the price. The bathroom is small and the shower is out of date. If you have a large group one bathroom is difficult.
