5 stars in Champagne with a private pool

The quaint wine village of Les Riceys is home to no less than three AOC champagne appellations (Champagne, Coteaux Champenois and Rosé des Riceys), and lies at the gates of Burgundy, 40 minutes from Troyes and its famous factory outlets. Villa Lombardi, a charming country property dating from the 17th century, completely renovated in 2019. Rated 5 épis/4 stars, Villa Lombardi very comfortably accommodates 5 to 7 people with quality materials, high-end furniture and chic and refined decoration.

The space
On the ground floor you will find a spacious and luminous living room and open kitchen with dining area, looking out to the terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, induction stove, water boiler, microwave, toaster, filter-coffee machine, espresso machine, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, etc.

BEDROOMS
From the main living space, you can access a single bedroom perfect for one adult or 2 teenagers. Main mattress is a premium Simmons mattress 90 x 200 (trundle bed accommodates an additional person with a 90 x 190 mattress) with private bathroom (Italian shower / sink / toilet / towel dryer).

Our second bedroom (queen size bed with Simmons premium mattresses 160x200) also with private bathroom (Italian shower / sink / toilet / towel dryer).

Upstairs you will find the master suite with its double bedroom (queen size bed with Simmons premium mattresses 160 x 200) and its spacious bathroom (Italian shower / bathtub / sink / toilet / towel dryer), as well as a separate sitting room with a sofa bed , TV, Blueray player, sound bar and library.

OUTSIDE SPACE
Outside you have ample parking spaces in the closed property, a terrace with lounge furniture (sofa / armchairs / coffee table) ideal for your aperitifs, a private yard and garden with outdoor dining table, lounge chairs, parasol and barbecue. A wellness area with sauna will be available in autumn 2019.

All our equipment is electric, including the latest generation heating system offering a gentle heat to inertia - heat transfer fluid and presence detector thus ensuring a very low energy consumption.

We have chosen Simmons 4 - 5 star hotel mattresses for all of our beds to ensure optimum sleeping comfort for travelers.
Premium Linvosges pillows, linens and towels are provided. The beds will be made upon arrival.

Bike storage is available.

Located in the heart of the Village des Riceys, Villa Lombardi affords walking access to the tourist office, local shops, bakery (you will love the Pétrisane BIO baguette), the supermarket, newspapers, tobacco, café, pharmacy (all within 10-minute walk or 2-minute car ride). The bank and post office are just 2-minutes away on foot. If you have a bigger shopping trip in mind, Bar-sur-Seine is a 15-minute drive.

Getting around
If you are interested in hiking to discover our beautiful village and its surroundings, many hiking departures are near the Villa Lombardi.
Feel free to peruse the welcome kit, which describes a wide range of activities available in the region.
A thirty minute drive will take you to the fabulous Nigloland amusement park, the town of Essoyes with the Renoir Museum, retracing the life of the famous painter and his family, and also the beautiful Eastern forest and its large lakes equipped with beaches, an aquatic park, restaurants, and boating. The beautiful city of Troyes with the typical charm of the region is just 40 minutes by car.

Golfing is also a 30 to 45 minutes drive to several golf courses.

A connecting bus to Troyes leaves twice a day from just 2 minutes away on foot from Villa Lombardi.
