Welcome to the Jockey Suite at Sugar Hill Farm, located in the heart of the Horse Capital of the World! Here you will find history, tradition, & a unique Kentucky feel. Wake up in this newly renovated, 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom farmhouse to see horses running & hear the birds chirping. Bring your friends, family, & horses to live like a true Kentuckian- yes, I said horses! We offer several stalls for your four legged friend to use during your stay. Book now to experience what it's like to live like a Kentuckian!
We will not be on site, but if you need us, we will be there! We offer 24/7 communication.
The only neighbors you might see are the 4 legged friends that gallop through the field! There is another airbnb on this farm, but you will not share any spaces! We do ask that you respect their privacy!

The living room is very spacious offering a smart TV for you to watch all of your favorite shows on your prefered platform. The yard is big enough for any yard games or for the kids to run!

The Jockey Suite offers a fully stocked kitchen with your basic cooking utensils for you to prepare & enjoy your favorite meals. The kitchen table has 4 seats & the bar has 2 stools for everyone to eat at! Coffee, creamer, sugars, & tea are always provided.

SLEEP
We know you will get a great night's rest when sleeping in The Jockey Suite. With 3 bedrooms & 4 beds, there is plenty of room for everyone! The owner's suite offers a king bed & a half bath. The secondary bedroom has 2 twin beds & the third bedroom has a queen bed. All linens are provided!

BARN
Do you travel with your horse? Great news! We have several stalls for your horse to stay. If you are interested in using this amenity, please reach out so we can help you get situated!

OUTDOORS
The Jockey Suite is surrounded by several horse farms with the most beautiful horses that run freely every day! Our favorite thing to do is watch the horses gallop through the fields while sitting on the patio. Feel free to walk around, but please stay out of the fenced in areas.

Property needs TLC. Nothing has improved since oir stay last October. Coffe pot was not cleaned. Picked up rawhide dog chews off carpet in living room. Living room carpet in not attractive at all. Toilet paper roll in main bathroom barely hangs onto the wall, ( same as last year). A lot off bees nesting under the porch gutter as well as the siding in front of house. Front porch could look a lot beeter. Outside electrical outlet just hangs there with no cover on it, screen door is on dire need od paint and a little sweeping of the walls would be nice and also porch ceiling light is filled with bugs. As I say, nothing has changed since last October.

We enjoyed the experience. Our only complaints are floors needed to be cleaner ( especially the register in the hall and the kitchen floor. Also, we would have liked some ice.

We really enjoyed our stay. House was perfect for me and my two daughters’ spontaneous weekend trip. It was so enjoyable to watch and interact with the horses (a mare and her playful colt) that were right outside the door. Beds were very comfy, towels clean and plentiful and the kitchen had all we needed. Only negative was that some areas were not as clean and I would have expected them to be - nothing horrible though.

Great Location, Needs Attention
Let me first say, I have never given a bad review of any property I have stayed in using this app. This home is in a beautiful spot surrounded by horse pastures, peaceful and serene. It has a lot going for it, if it was managed and cleaned properly. When we arrived, the trash bin was overflowing. I messaged as directed and was told someone would be out to help. As of check out, no one had arrived. Also when we arrived, the house is not clean. The floors are dirty. The bathrooms are dirty. The windows and windowsills are filthy with dead bugs. Only one garage can for the whole house in the kitchen with a lid that was broken. Garbage cans in the bathrooms would have been nice. The internet is sketchy at best. This made it difficult to use Roku or to airplay anything. Beds and towels were clean. Kitchen was adequately stocked but some dishes in the cupboards were dirty.

Mice & Terrible communication
Lots of beautiful horses nearby. Beds were very comfortable. Outside porch needs a good cleaning. TV would not work !! I tried contacting Emily from 4:30 until 7:45. Not until I threatened with a negative review did she call me. She was extremely nasty and said storm caused outages. Told us to unplug router in kitchen. Still no TV. Not sure I believe the storm caused the outage.We then had to watch a movie on my phone !! 3 of us ! TV still didn’t work the next day. I asked about ice trays she said there was a store down the street to buy ice !!! Towels on the bed were still extremely damp. We had to put them in dryer. Garbage outside falling out of cans. The next morning a mouse jumped out of our cooler on the counter. Looked under the counter lots of mouse droppings!! Pitiful customer service from this property!! I have pictures wish I could post them here.

Perfect location
Loved being right there on the horse farm in horse country. Perfect for visits to Keeneland and the Bourbon Trail. Loved hearing the horses too. House was clean and accommodating

A great place to stay
The house was very comfortable and inviting. We traveled from Tennessee to go to Keeneland for the races and this place was everything we needed. Clean, quiet and close to the race track. We hope to stay there again next April.

Location was picturesque. Super cute cottage. Nice size rooms. Well equipped. Bathrooms were small. Needs a little more attention to cleaning.
