The hotel was about 8 minutes walk to Kennedy Park. There are more pharmacies, restaurants, convenience stores in that area.
Check in and checkout were an easy process thanks to Juan Jose. He was very friendly helpful and efficient. He speaks English & Spanish. The guy who works at night gave me a little friction regarding having a guest visit, but in the morning Juan Jose took care of assuring me that it was ok and I had no extra charges or problems.
The room was nice there was a refrigerator. The bathroom has shampoo and shower gel, two bottles of water and good water pressure. No hair conditioner or lotion.
The bed was comfortable and it was a quiet area. The AC worked well and the blackout curtains kept it dark.
Breakfast was scrambled eggs, fresh fruit some Peruvian plates such as lomo saltado. A fresh squeezed orange juice machine but no ice so it was warm. I would hope to see pancakes or waffles in the future, or some sausage or bacon to compliment the eggs.
There is a bar on the 9th floor where breakfast is also served. 2 pisco sours for 25 soles is not a bad deal (appx $6.55 usd) there are only 3 menu items, but it might take 30 to 40 minutes.
Overall I liked the hotel, but I might try a different one with in the future with so many options in the area.
