The room has the narrowest vertical window imaginable. No light. Carpets need replacing. Details on cleaning need to be addressed. Front counter staff very friendly and polite. Changed hotels as soon as I could. Breakfast selection average.

the hotel is in a very safe neighborhood. we felt safe to walk 20-30 minutes to restaurants and supermarkets, even after dark. the front desk staff was super helpful. the lady really went above and beyond to arrange a last minute airport pickup request i submitted via whatsapp just before we took off at cusco. when i got to the Lima airport, she continued to work on the arrangement. we waited a bit at the airport for the van to show up but she kept me informed about the driver's whereabouts. it's a private company that they partner with and it's not too cheap (US$45 for 8 people) compared with taxi and ubers but since it's late and dark, safety was our primary concern and we were grateful that the lady was able to help and we were able to get to the hotel safe and sound. I have a feeling that it's a chinese managed or owned property because it has a chinese restaurant inside and we saw chinese characters everywhere. because of an event, the breakfast was served in the chinese restaurant, rather than their usual place and the seating wasn't that nice. the food and drink were also so so only. The good thing was they offered each guest a welcome drink and the pisco sour they served was pretty refreshing. overall it's a very good choice.

The am buffet was well with ample healthy portions. The only reason I did not give excellent it is located on a Main Street and I had prefer some quiet once in my room; other than this ; I truly enjoyed the time and the staff are very helpful in giving ideas as to how to get around.

Customer service was excellent. The woman at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. She spoke enough English to help us with everything and was very patient with our requests (extra towels, bottles of water, taxi booking, etc.) There was a mix-up with our airport transfer and she got it sorted out quickly and sent us another one immediately. The free breakfast buffet is excellent - large variety of fresh foods, juice and coffee/tea, and different hot offerings each morning. Plus they're open until 10 am for us late risers. Location is perfect, it's a few minutes' walk to the Museo de Huaca Pucllana, and about 2 km from the seaside. You can easily walk there or take a quick taxi. There are shops nearby for snacks and drinks and the neighborhood is relatively safe. Despite the dingy hallways which badly need a paint job, the room was spacious and immaculately clean with fresh sheets and towels. However the shower doors leaked water on the floor and our sink drain would back up and let some dirt into the sink until it drained. Not a big deal but it was inconvenient. There was a small fridge and two bottles of water for use. They also provided shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, plus hand soap. Overall, excellent stay. I would come back.

Make sure you get the room you pay for. They gave me standard room - which we would have been ok with - if it wasnt for a bad leak from the shower that almost caused an accident when i almost slip going to the toilet at night. They agreed to change my room when I complained of the leak and that it was not what i paid for. Coincidently enough, another family was also asking to get a different room because it was not what was in the picture they ordered. Both rooms on the fifth floor were so noisy from the main ave being just outside the windows. The hot water took 5 min to fully kick in. To top it off i misplaced my card key and was charged $20 (USD) for a replacement. Breakfast was good. Would think twice before coming here again and/or staying at a place next to a busy street.
