Year Round Peaceful Getaway in a Prime Location
Start your day sitting peacefully out on the deck just feet from the water's edge or on the private dock watching the bass jump out of the water. Throw a line in the water from the dock or jump in your boat and go fishing for Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike or Walleye (as well as a multitude of panfish).

If you like to power your own watercraft, South Lindstrom Lake is part of the Chisago Lakes Water Trail and connects to many other surrounding lakes.

Just across the lake is Lindstrom, a vibrant small town that revels in it's community events and busy Main Street.

A short drive and you're hiking in a state park or viewing fall colors in the beautiful St. Croix River Valley. All along the way, all year long, there are towns and shops, activities and attractions.

When you're done for the day, grab a beverage and relax on the couch as you gaze out at the lake. Take a hot shower to warm up from a day of ice fishing, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Start a fire in the fire pit next to the lake for some S'mores or to cook up your catch of the day. Take out the kayaks or paddleboat (provided) for some spectacular sunset views. It was so lovely for our girls weekend. The property had everything we needed. The fish were biting and the paddle boat was easy to get in the water. Lindstrom is a super cute little town with fun shopping. I highly recommend this lake house!

Solitude at its finest!
Pleasantly situated on a calm lake, immaculate, comfortable, well appointed kitchen and kayaks and paddle boat available. We chose to sit on the dock, read, watch the fish swimming under us and the families of Canadian geese families parade by. A must for bird watchers, too. A special bonus were the smart tvs so we could watch Eurovision!

Perfect Getaway Close to Home
We needed to shut out the world for a couple of days without driving far from the city and this was perfect. The lake house is quiet and it’s absolutely beautiful sitting on the couch looking out over the water. We had everything we needed as the owners thought of everything from throw blankets to a can opener. It is probably the most well-stocked VRBO we have stayed at. Paul was excellent to communicate with and responded to messages within minutes both leading up to our stay and during our stay. We will be back for more stays at this location because of the property, the amazing hosts, the location, and the fishing year round.

Super clean, comfortable, and cozy, definitely recommend! Stayed 2 nights in the fall for a mini family vacation with our 9 month old. Second bedroom was perfect for the pack and play, the bathroom had a tub, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Although it rained most the time we were there, the space was perfect for hanging out and playing games. Our little guy loved looking out the siding glass door to watch the rain. Host was friendly and very kind, hopefully we’ll visit again next year.

The property was very clean and had everything we needed (towels, cooking utensils, board games…) for our stay. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck/ dock and taking the kayaks out on the lake. Lind Lake Cabin
Pretty much enjoyed our stay. Quiet and peaceful place to sit outside and fish off the dock. Perfect size for 4 people. It was a nice clean cabin with plenty of parking space. Host was friendly and accommodating especially when we left items behind. Dock and boat lift need work. We couldn’t use the lift. Cabin could use more storage space. We left our clothes in totes so they were more easily accessible. The back 2 burners of the stove don’t work. The vent in the bathroom needs some attention. There was a bad smell as you sat on the deck. Couldn’t find the source. Overall I would recommend this cabin. Thank you!

Inside perfect/outside unprepared
The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. However, the outside furniture wasn’t clean and the deck and BBQ were covered with cobwebs. It was only one of the only houses on the lake where the dock wasn’t in, and the boat lift was blocking the beach.

We were very comfortable in the cabin. So well arranged!! We were a little disappointed that we couldn't get the grill to work & maybe a umbrella on the deck would have made a difference on those hot afternoons. All in all, we did great & appreciate you sharing your cabin with us!! Fishing was slow but loved the area!

Bachelorette Weekend
This property was very clean. The check in process was flawless and allowed us to arrive whenever we needed with the least amount of stress. My sisters, cousin and I had a very relaxing weekend and the view was a true getaway. Even though the weather didn't behave it was nice to get away and have a relaxing weekend to celebrate the bride. We hiked Taylor Falls which was close by. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt at ease and safe. We would definitely recommend and would go back in the future. Thank you Blake family!

Wonderful and cozy
We stayed at this cabin two nights the end of October. It's a beautiful location. It was easily accessible, clean, and comfortable. It was perfect for our family of three. We enjoyed the bonfire ring with a sky full of stars. You get the country feeling without being far from restaurants, grocery stores and anything else you may want. The cabin is well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. We would love to visit again when it's warmer out and we can enjoy the lake.
